We hope that you've been well.
It's been an incredibly busy period for Table Tennis in Victoria with plenty happening across the state. I am pleased to share some updates from activity across the organisation in the last month.

2026 Mid-Year Affiliates Survey
Every year we invite our affiliates to participate in a midyear survey. It's an invaluable time of the year as the information gathered gives us feedback withplanning towards our strategic priorities in the coming year as well as helping us provide support to our clubs and associations. If you haven't already, please take a few minutes to complete our Mid-Year Affiliate Survey below.

BaTT Girls program grows in strength
The BaTT Girls program continues its mission to inspire more women and girls to get involved in table tennis across Victoria with a third session scheduled to take place on Monday 3 August from 10:30am to 1:00pm at the Geelong Table Tennis Centre. RSVP your attendance here.

Dandenong Veterans Open Entries closing soon
The Dandenong Veterans Open entries are closing this Saturday for the 2-day 2026 Dandenong Veterans Open coming up on August 15-16. To sign up for this event pleaseclick here.
Yarrawonga Junior/Senior Open Entries
Entries are open for the 2026 Yarrawonga Junior/Senior Open coming up on August 29-30.To register for this tournament please click here.
Junior State Team selected for the 2026 National Junior Championships
The TTV State Selection Panel met recently to select the Victorian Junior State teams to compete at the 2026 Table Tennis Australia National Championships in Moreton Bay, QLD, in September. Readthe announcement here.
Para Hub Training / Come & Try Sessions
The VIC Para Hub has been running monthly Para Hub Training / Come & Try Sessions around Melbourne since November 2025. The sessions held so far have been co-hosted alongside the following Venues / Clubs: MSAC, Croydon & Districts TTA, Melton TTA & Mornington Peninsula & Frankston City TTA - with ICC booked in for August & September. We have 2 separate Para Hub Training Sessions (combined with Come and Try sessions) scheduled for the month of August.
• 9 August is for athletes who play their table tennis in a wheelchair (The Hangar, Essendon Football Club)
• 16 August is for athletes who play their table tennis in standing (ICC Table Tennis Academy)

Victorian Government Sporting Clubs Grant Program
The Annual Victorian Government Sporting Clubs Grant program is opened on the 10th of July and closes on 26th August 2026. The Sporting Club Grants Program provides funding for community sport and active recreation organisations across Victoria. There are 5 different funding categories which helps grassroots clubs and organisations address barriers in participation, develop safe and sustainable practices and build social and active local communities. Its worth a look!
