Hi all Parents,

James Bazely Qld Cricket is looking at holding a Level Silver Coaching Adults how to coach night and have given us two date.

Two Available dates:

Wednesday 7/10
Monday 19/10

This would run from 5:30 pm to 7:30pm

This is free and it doesn't matter if you are going to be coaching a team or just want to get some skills to help your child.

Let us know what date you would prefer and if you are interested.

A huge thank you to all the juniors, parents and carers, coaches, volunteers and committee members who attended our 2026 Grading Night tonight!

It was fantastic to see such an incredible turnout and even better to see the pure love of cricket on every child’s face. 💚🧡

We welcomed returning players, children who have played cricket before but are joining us for the first time, and brand-new players beginning their journey with our Greenbank family!

While many children are already registered, we still need some players who attended tonight to complete their registration. Please register as soon as possible so we can streamline the grading and team selection process.

If your child will be playing for one of our Greenbank teams based at our Waterford facility, please message our page so we can assign them to the correct facility.

We require all players to attend.

If your child missed our first grading night, please arrive early and see us before training starts on Tuesday 15 September.

Keep an eye on our page for the release of our temporary team lists for Stage 2 of grading.

Please remember: these are temporary grading groups only and are not the final team lists.

Grading helps ensure every junior is placed in the division that best suits their skills and development and enjoyment for the upcoming season.

💚 MEET OUR NEW JUNIOR COORDINATOR BILAL AHMED! 💚

The Greenbank Cricket Club Executive Committee is excited to officially introduce Bilal Ahmed as our Junior Coordinator!

Bilal was selected because he has consistently demonstrated excellent communication, a willingness to listen and use constructive feedback, and a genuine commitment to supporting every team, not just his own. He is always ready to pitch in and help wherever needed, and most importantly, he puts our juniors first… ALWAYS!

For Bilal, putting kids first means ensuring that “every child feels welcome, valued and supported.”

He believes success isn’t measured only by runs, wickets or wins:

💬 “My biggest measure of success is seeing a child become more confident.”

Bilal is looking forward to supporting all our junior teams, coaches and families while creating strong two way communication between Greenbank and the Logan District Cricket Committee.

💬 “Most importantly, I want to help create a positive environment where every junior enjoys cricket, develops their skills and confidence, and feels proud to be part of the Greenbank family.”

🏏🏆 GRAND FINAL MATCH REPORT – U12 WARRIORS 🏆🏏

What a way to finish our Winter 2026 season!

After an entire season without crossing paths, our Greenbank Warriors U12s and SSCC Lions U12s finally met for the very first time today… and it just happened to be on GRAND FINAL DAY!

🏏 GREENBANK WARRIORS – 8/120 (29.3 overs)

The Warriors won the toss and chose to bat. Nash Diesing led the way with a brilliant 54 retired not out, while Harry Nipperess added an important 28 to help set the Lions a target of 121.

Then it was time to defend it!

The Warriors struck with Soham Tiwari (1/20), Koby Turner (1/16), Harry Nipperess (1/18) and Bhavya Patel (1/11) all taking wickets, with Nash and Ramon also holding onto catches in the field.

The Lions fought hard and eventually reached 4/121 in 19.3 overs, taking out the Grand Final.

🏆 FINAL: SSCC Lions 4/121 defeated Greenbank Warriors 8/120

While it wasn’t the result we were hoping for, our Warriors certainly weren’t alone today!

Thank you to our Greenbank family who supported from the sidelines cheering the boys on! 👏 That’s what being part of Greenbank Cricket Club is all about, showing up and supporting each other.

To our U12 Warriors, you fought your way through the Winter competition and earned your place on Grand Final Day, and that is something to be incredibly proud of!

A huge thank you to the players, coaches, team managers, parents, families and supporters who have been there throughout the season.
