🏆 METRO 1 PREMIERS AND CHAMPIONS 🏆

Congratulations to our Metro 1 Women who did the double last night and came away with a tightly contested 1-0 win against rivals North Brisbane up in Caboolture.

The game was end to end, with Darcy popping up in the 88th minute to seal the late goal with a deftly placed shot into the bottom corner.

Overall a dominant season from the team saw them take top spot early in the year and stay at the top of the league the whole way through!

First pieces of silverware coming back to Lanham for the 2026 season! Congratulations once again, and enjoy the celebrations 🍾

🧡🖤 Vale Roslyn "Ros" Sinclair - Grange Thistle Life Member 🖤🧡

It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Roslyn Sinclair, a dedicated volunteer, Life Member, and cherished member of the Grange Thistle family.

Ros joined Grange Thistle in 1979 when her son Ian signed on to play in the Under 8 Leopards team. What began as supporting a young player soon evolved into decades of outstanding service to our club.

In the mid-1980s, Ros joined the Junior Committee and served as Secretary, where she played a key role in helping shape junior football in Brisbane.

Ros then took on the role of Club Treasurer in 1988, dedicating the next 15 years to strengthening the club's financial position and helping steer Grange Thistle towards a more secure future. Her commitment, diligence, and countless hours of volunteer service left a lasting impact on the club we know today.

In recognition of her extraordinary contribution, Ros was awarded Life Membership in 1999, an honour she regarded as the pinnacle of her time with Grange Thistle. Ros's legacy is one of selfless service, passion for community football, and unwavering commitment to Grange Thistle. Generations of players, families, volunteers, and members have benefited from her efforts.

On behalf of everyone at Grange Thistle, we extend our sincere condolences to her children Glenda, Sandra & Ian, their families, friends, and all who knew Ros.

Thank you, Ros, for everything you gave to our club. Your contribution will never be forgotten.
