Scholarship Series Round 2

Overall, it was a solid weekend at The Bend. Cody showed great consistency throughout, qualifying in the top 10. He did face some gearbox issues, but thanks to the team’s quick work, he was able to get back out on track in time.

Misty had a tough time finding the pace and encountered a few problems during the races. After being hit and then experiencing an ABS fault, she ended up a lap behind in Race 2, which meant starting at the back of the pack for the final race.

We were at QR testing out our new TA2s we had a lot of fun learning how to drive and handle the car. A lot more testing to be done and can’t wait to get back behind the wheel

Scholarship Series Round 1

It was a full on couple of days at Winton, starting with a full practice day on Friday followed by qualifying and three races on Saturday.

The weekend was packed with learning experiences, with lots of close, competitive, and tight racing that really tested skills and strategies.

We can’t thank ATR enough for all their help and guidance. Giving us every opportunity to improve our racing to ensure we improve each race.

First track day of the year Misty and Cody had a great day at one raceway with the team. Lots of progress was made and a lot more to come.

Final round of the year.

Qualifying was a struggle with Cody having gearbox issues and Misty dealing with wiring problems. Ben and Mick worked hard and fast, swapping out the gearbox to get Cody ready for race 1. They got the job done and Cody charged through the field.Unfortunately, Misty’s car still lacked pace.

For the rest of the weekend, Cody hovered around P6 as gearbox troubles persisted. Misty’s car still didn’t improve, but Ben and Mick kept working hard, trying to pinpoint the issue causing all the grief.

After lots of trial and error, they finally tuned Misty’s car for the final race. The pace was finally there,Cody gave it his all, but his gearbox worsened with each race.

Overall, it was a solid weekend. We’ve improved and learned heaps throughout the year especially Cody, who took home the Wheelman of the Year Award.

Huge thanks to Ben, Mick, Cam, and Zenith for stepping in for the rest of the season prepping the cars, getting them to the track, and keeping everything running smoothly. Big shoutout to Troy from TPS for helping out most of the year we wouldn’t be where we are without him. And of course, thanks to Mum and Dad for their support and for giving us the chance to race these past two years.

Qualifying went great with both Misty and Cody securing spots in the top 10. They raced well all weekend, setting new goals and achieving them.

Cody earned his first podium with a P3 finish an awesome result that shows all his hard work over the past two years has paid off. Cody finished P7 and Misty P6 in the championship, marking a solid end to the season despite the car troubles we faced early on in the year.

Big thanks to Ben and Riley for their help with the cars throughout the weekend.

PMP excel cup round 4

The weekend was challenging as the cars still weren’t at full performance. Cody’s engine died after just a few laps, which significantly affected his speed, while Misty’s car was misfiring, also reducing her pace.

The competition was very tight throughout the weekend. Due to the car problems, Misty managed to secure a spot in the top 10 by the end of the weekend while Cody finished in P15.

A big thank you to Ben, Tom, Cam, and everyone else who helped us over the weekend.
