AusCycling Membership Update

AusCycling has introduced a new membership structure, providing riders with different membership options depending on how they participate in cycling; from recreational riding through to club racing and higher-level competition.

For Goulburn Cycle Club members, you’ll now select the AusCycling membership that best suits your riding and racing activities.

Importantly, Goulburn Cycle Club will be maintaining our existing $20 annual club membership fee. This is the same club fee that was included with our previous membership structure and is not included in the AusCycling membership prices listed below.

Your membership cost will therefore consist of:

AusCycling membership fee + $20 Goulburn Cycle Club membership fee

The $20 club fee goes directly towards supporting Goulburn Cycle Club and allows us to continue and add more of club rides, racing, junior development, events and activities for our members.

What happens to your current membership?

If you are an existing AusCycling member with a current, valid membership, your membership will be transferred across to the new system. You will retain your existing membership benefits and coverage for the remaining period of your current membership.

When your current membership expires, you will then need to select and purchase the new AusCycling membership that best suits your riding and racing.

New members, or members whose existing AusCycling membership has expired, will need to sign up through the new AusCycling membership system.

Over the weekend, the ACT State Champs and NSW Masters State Champs were held in Canberra. We had a great showing with 8 riders competing across both the Time Trial and Road Race.

🚨Local Winter Racing🚨

Winter racing returns this Saturday 15/08. The race will be a 20km handicap race on Range Rd, this is different to the calendar location of Windellama Rd. Everyone has a chance, come and join us!

Sign on from 1:30pm at the corner of Range Rd and Chinamans Lane. Racing at 2:00pm. $5 cash entry fee.

Yesterday we held a handicap on Middle Arm Rd, with young member Archie Anderson taking full advantage of his handicap and holding off a fast finishing scratch group. The results were:

What an exciting day for the Goulburn Cycle Club! We are incredibly proud to support Elsie Apps on her journey to the UCI Junior Track World Championships in Belgium this August, where she will proudly represent Australia. Seeing one of our own progress through the ranks with the unwavering support of her family has been inspiring. The entire club is behind you, Elsie, and we wish you all the very best as you take on the world’s best.

Hi GCC, we are in need of one more turner for racing tomorrow at Breadalbane. If you can help out, please let me know by 7:00pm!

Winter racing returns this Saturday 18/07. The race will be a 44km Graded Scratch race at Breadalbane - for those wanting a shorter ride, the 22km Summer Course is also an option. A, B, C and D grades, come and join us!

Sign on from 1:30pm at the Breadalbane Community Hall. Racing at 2:00pm. $5 cash entry fee.
