A free, weekly, timed 5k event every Saturday morning at 8am in Pioneer Park. Everyone is welcome to walk, run or volunteer.
parkrun (http://www.parkrun.com/) is a not-for-profit organisation established in the United Kingdom in 2004 to provide a free, weekly, timed 5km running event to every community that wants one. There are now over 790 events worldwide with more than 100,000 runners participating every Saturday morning. Events are organised by local volunteers with support from parkrun.
