🇦🇺🦞 Good luck, Sam!

A huge shoutout to our very own Sam Hughes, who is currently in Tokyo representing the Australian Sharks in the two-match series! 🇦🇺🇯🇵

For those new to the club, Sam is a true Lobster through and through. 🦞 He started his water polo journey as a junior at Gosford, worked his way through the grades and represented our First Grade team right up until last season.

Sam then took the next step in his career, signing a professional contract in Hungary, where he continued to develop and compete at the highest level overseas. Sam landed back on home soil just recently and has been training with the Aussie sharks ever since, narrowly missing out on the World Cup finals due to injury.

It’s awesome to see one of our own representing Australia on the international stage. We’re incredibly proud of you, Sam, and we’ll be cheering you on from home!

What a turnout for our 2nd GWP Come & Try session! It was fantastic to see so many new faces getting involved, giving water polo a go and, most importantly, having fun in the pool. 💦

Master the rules. Keep games flowing. Practical refereeing experience with our experienced refs. Support from Noel (Water Polo NSW).

📋 TABLE DUTY CLINIC
Be the backbone of every match. Learn scoreboard, clock, game admin. Led by Ali Carlisle. Counts toward Water Polo NSW accreditation.

All start 9:00 AM. All run till 11:00 AM.

No experience needed. All skill levels welcome. 💪
