It is with fond memories that we farewell Jono Cooper from Gosford Tennis Club. Jono has been an integral part of the club for over 6 years. His professionalism and tennis know-how has brought joy to many and has seen numerous players develop their skills to a very high level. Coast & Country Tennis will still be operating out of Gosford with Alex and the team keeping the same schedule. Good luck in your new endeavours, you will very much be missed.

Mary Gordon has officially been recognised by Gosford Tennis Club alongside Nathan Healey and Mark Edmonson on the newly unveiled Honour board. The Honour Board recognises members who have achieved outstanding results in Tennis. Mary has been one of our most successful players at GTC. Mary has excelled in singles, doubles and mixed events, to date winning a total of 35 Australian titles on the senior circuit from 1992 to 2020. Achieving number 1, world ranking in 2018 for mixed doubles and in 2019 for women’s 80s and over singles and doubles. Mary is currently working through some health issues and we hope to see her back on the court very soon.
