What a way to wrap up the first weekend of finals, with the first trophy of the finals coming home to Wyoming! 🏆

A MASSIVE congratulations to our U11 Girls, who took out their U11 Tournament Grand Final! 💛🖤 We couldn’t be prouder of you!

A huge shoutout also goes to our U11B and U11C-2 teams, who both made it all the way to the Grand Final and finished as runners-up. An incredible achievement and something to be very proud of! 👏

The finals action didn’t stop there, with our W12s and U12Cs winning their semi-finals and booking their spots in the next round! 🔥⚽

And to all of our Wyoming teams whose finals journey came to an end this weekend — hold your heads high. Making finals is an achievement in itself, and you represented the Tigers with pride, determination and plenty of heart. We are incredibly proud of what you have achieved this season. 🐯💛

The event will now be held Sat 19/9 at Alan Davidson Park from 9am.

𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗲 — 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗱 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗲

It is with great sadness that Wyoming Football Club acknowledges the passing of David Steele.

David was a much-loved member of the Wyoming Tigers family — a proud and supportive father to Marcus Steele, Hall of Fame member and MPL Premiership winner, and Mal Steele, a long-serving Men’s 35/45 player, and a devoted husband to Susan.

Affectionately known as “Biggen”, David was always ready with a joke, a laugh and, more often than not, a beer on the sidelines. He was a familiar and much-loved face around the club, always there supporting his boys and enjoying the camaraderie that makes our club so special.

David will be remembered for his warmth, humour, friendship and unwavering support of his family and the Tigers.

Our deepest condolences go to Susan, Marcus, Mal and the Steele family at this very sad time.

Funeral details will be advised once known.

Please join us the Sunday for the MPL squads last game of the season, Old Boys Day, where we will celebrate his life.

Rest easy, Biggen. You’ll be missed around the sidelines. 💛🖤
