Congratulations Ashton Fury for taking home the 9 Hole Nett Winner at the Mossman Junior Open. He shot a solid 56, only 6 shots off the Gross winner.

What an exciting finish it was with the sudden death play-off for 18 hole boys gross champion with Gordonvale junior Xenon Wilesmith taking home the crown with a nail biting finish on the green.

Mareeba Joeys 🦘 Junior Golf Open – Registrations OPEN

The Mareeba Golf Club is pleased to announce that entries are OPEN for the 2026 Joeys Junior Golf Open, to be held on Sunday 26th July commencing at 8:00am.

This event welcomes junior golfers from across Far North Queensland for a fun, friendly and inclusive day of competition. Following play, all participants will be provided with a FREE sausage sizzle and fresh fruit kebabs prior to the presentation.

We look forward to hosting FNQ’s junior golfers and celebrating their skills, sportsmanship and enthusiasm for the game.

Ashton was the over all Gross winner at the Half Moon Bay junior Open the week.
He shot 49 on day one and 42 on the second to take out the 9 mod category.
He birdied hole 4 with an awesome chip from the edge of the green.
