Woogaroo Swim Club Inc. is located within the Goodna Aquatic Centre, 137 Brisbane Terrace, Goodna QLD Our current President is Jeremy Bruce.
Woogaroo Swim Club held it's inaugural meeting on 22 April, 1974. Peter Scholes was elected as the Club's first President, a position he held for two years. The main driving force behind the formation of the club was Serge Ruggeri, a teacher at Goodna State School, where the club was originally located. The action really ramped up on Day 2 of the Swimming Queensland SC Championships! 🔥
We saw more fast racing, plenty of PBs, and of course, more shenanigans in between events. 😆

Milla and Amayra both smashed out PBs, with Milla claiming 🥉 and Amayra finishing an impressive 7th in the 800 freestyle ⭐️

Only one more sleep until these legends hit the pool at Swimming Queensland SC Championships!
During the week we were excited to present them all with their state caps, many for the very first time! Qualification for an event of this standard is a massive achievement and we’re super proud of each and every one of these swimmers!
