πŸ“£ VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY πŸ“£

SWELL Sculpture Festival is looking for volunteers for 2026 - and honestly it's one of the best ways to get involved in the Gold Coast arts scene, meet people, and pick up real events and customer service experience while you're at it.

The festival runs 11–20 September along Currumbin Beach to Flat Rock and is Queensland's largest outdoor beach sculpture festival. There are loads of different roles available so there's something for everyone.

Nothing better than getting active with your mates. ⚽️

Our June excursion took the crew to Broadwater Parklands for a session with Soccer Stars Au - drills, friendly games, and some serious teamwork on display. Safe to say a few new friendships were made on that pitch.

Next up? Dreamworld. πŸ‘€ Who's coming?

Meet Olga - one of our 2026 Mayor's Student Ambassadors ⭐️

Originally from Spain, Olga has embraced the Gold Coast as her home away from home. Whether she's catching waves, getting creative, discovering new places or making lifelong friendships, she's proving that studying abroad is about so much more than the classroom. πŸ„β€β™€οΈ πŸ•οΈ 🌊
