Fun. Friends. Confidence. And a whole lot of sailing. π
31/08/2026
Head up, eyes out. Almost everything that matters on a boat is happening outside it. β΅
Wind on the water, boats nearby, the mark you're heading for. Get in the habit early and it stays with you. π‘
31/08/2026
β΅ More than a sailing club.
Yes, our kids learn how to sail.
But somewhere between rigging boats, launching off the beach, learning to read the wind and laughing with their mates, something much bigger happens.
They build confidence.
They learn independence.
They discover what theyβre capable of.
And friendships form that have very little to do with who crossed the finish line first. π
At Paradise Point Sailing Club, we want our young sailors to have somewhere they feel they belong β a place to learn, challenge themselves, have a laugh and grow up surrounded by a great community.
Because sailing might be what brings them hereβ¦
but the people are what make them want to come back.

β΅π SUPPORT LOCAL. BE SEEN. MAKE AN IMPACT!
Paradise Point Sailing Club is officially inviting local businesses to come aboard as PPSC sponsors.
And weβre looking for more than just a logo on a sign.
We want to build genuine partnerships with businesses who believe in supporting local families, creating opportunities for young people and keeping grassroots community sport thriving.
π WHY PARTNER WITH PPSC?
Paradise Point Sailing Club occupies a fantastic waterfront position on The Esplanade at Paradise Point, putting our club β and our sponsors β in front of locals and visitors throughout the year.
But the real impact happens beyond the signage.
PPSC is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit community sailing club, and sponsorship directly helps us provide equipment, improve our facilities and give local children the opportunity to develop confidence, teamwork, independence and resilience through sailing.
Every dollar stays within our community. π
And we've created sponsorship options to suit businesses at different levels.

β΅π FROM PPSC JUNIOR TO COACH OF THE YEAR FINALIST! πβ΅
We could not be prouder to share some pretty special news from the Paradise Point Sailing Club family.
Our very own Charlie Bratton has been named a FINALIST for the 2026 Queensland Sailing Awards β Coach of the Year! πβ΅
And for us, this one means a little more than an award nomination.
Charlie has been part of Paradise Point Sailing Club since he was just 10 years old.
He grew up sailing here.
He learned here.
He became part of the PPSC family here.
And now, even as he sets sail into an exciting new career of his own, Charlie still gives up his time to come back and volunteer as a coach at the club every Sunday, helping the next generation of young sailors find their feet on the water. π
There is something incredibly special about watching one of your own juniors grow up and then turn around and give that knowledge, encouragement and experience straight back to the kids coming through behind them.
That is what grassroots sailing is all about.
Itβs not simply teaching someone how to sail.
Itβs creating a place where a 10-year-old can walk through the gates, discover something they love, grow in confidence and skill, and perhaps one day find themselves building an entire career around the sport.
Charlie, regardless of what happens on awards night, Paradise Point Sailing Club is enormously proud of you.
Thank you for everything you continue to give to our juniors and to our club!!!
From PPSC junior β‘οΈ PPSC coach β‘οΈ Queensland Coach of the Year finalist β‘οΈ and now setting sail into your new career.
Not bad, Charlie. πβ΅π
Australian Sailing's official event listing confirms the awards presentation is Friday 11 September, 6:30pmβlate at Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron in Manly.
Please join us in wishing Charlie the VERY BEST OF LUCK for the Queensland Sailing Awards on Friday 11 September! ππ
Good people. Great sails. Even better stories.
