🏐 Brisbane Metro Junior Competition (BMJC) EOIs are NOW OPEN! 🏐

Gold Coast Water Polo is now calling for Expressions of Interest for players wanting to compete in the 2026–27 Brisbane Metro Junior Competition.

📅 Competition: Saturdays throughout Term 4, 2026 and Term 1, 2027
📍 Venues: Multiple locations across Brisbane
💧 Approximately 20 games across the season.

GCWP will be entering teams across the junior age groups and, where required, will form composite teams with Warriors Water Polo.

Expected Age Divisions:
🔹 U12 (Born 2015–2019)
🔹 U13 (Born 2014–2017)
🔹 U14 (Born 2013–2016)
🔹 U15 (Born 2012–2015)
🔹 U16 (Born 2011–2014)
🔹 U17 (Born 2010–2013)
🔹 U18 (Born 2009–2012)

Players are eligible to play in up to two age divisions, with exemptions to play in three divisions available in some cases.

Perfect for players looking to have fun, build confidence, and enjoy plenty of game time.

Age Divisions:
💙 U10 Mixed – Born 2016–2019
💙 U12 Boys & Girls – Born 2014–2016

🏊 Minimum Bronze Registration required.
🏐 Every team is guaranteed at least 5 games.

Our Premier League Reserve season is coming to an end this Sunday.

"It is with deep sadness that the Gold Coast Water Polo community acknowledges the passing of one of our esteemed Life Members, Bobby Little.
Bobby’s contribution to our club and his dedication to the sport of water polo have left an indelible mark on our community.
He will be remembered not only for his involvement as a Life Member but for the lasting legacy he leaves behind for all our players and members.
Our thoughts and deepest condolences go out to his family and friends during this difficult time. Rest in peace, Bobby.
Celebration of life ceremony will be held for Bob Little on 3 July at 11 am surfers RSL
