Last Wednesday saw our Final Foursomes Matchplay take place, with a closely contested battle between two teams.

Congratulations to Lily Varady and Jean McIntyre, who secured a fantastic 3/1 victory over Julie Akers and Diane Hocking to take out the Final Foursomes Matchplay! 🏆

Well done to all four players on a great match, and congratulations to Lily and Jean on a well-deserved win. 👏⛳

Congratulations to Fiona and Andrew Cary, who produced a superb score of 47 points to claim the 2026 Founders Cup title 🏆🎉

Finishing as runners-up were Kerry O’Connell and Judy O’Connell with 46 points on a countback, while Mark Medcalf and Kathy Medcalf rounded out the top three, also on 46 points 🏌🏌🏼‍♀️

Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to another successful Founders Cup. It was wonderful to celebrate such an important date in the club’s history, and we look forward to continuing this special tradition for many years to come ⛳

⛳️ JUNIOR PENNANTS SEASON WRAP-UP 💚

What a season for our Junior Pennants teams! Our Interclub team battled hard across four rounds, with some fantastic individual performances and plenty of valuable experience gained along the way. 👏

Our Scratch team fought all the way to the final round, securing a crucial 3.5–2.5 win over Surfers Paradise to book their spot in the semi-finals! 🏆🔥
Now it’s time for the semi-finals this Sunday at home against Emerald Lakes! Come out and show your support for the junior pennant team!

A huge congratulations to all our juniors for their commitment, teamwork and determination, and a massive thank you to Ben Campbell, Justin Morley and David Eckersley for managing the teams throughout the season.
