What a weekend full of highs and lows!
It started off with a bang (literally) when the engine blew up, a few laps into practice night on Friday!

After a late night Friday & a massive day Saturday, we had a new engine in and Sammy was able to race Saturday.
Sammy set some good times and started the A Qualifier in 3rd and finished the night in 2nd🥈

On Sunday Sammy was straight through to the Top 4 Time trials where he started 4th and finished 2nd. This meant he was off the front row, out of P2 for the Powri Nationals. The car was fast and felt good but unfortunately in lap 8, Sammy was told to pull infield due to a fuel tank leak 😢

Although the weekend ended on a low note, the team can still hold their heads high. To be off the front row in the feature with a group of talented drivers is an achievement in itself. We'll be back again for 3rd time lucky in 2027 🤞

Massive shout out to Sam Joseph Nucifora (dad), Luke Giddy and Laurence Quagliata for getting the new engine in and setting the car up like a beast👌 Was so good having the old crew back together for the weekend.

Huge thank you to legend Kris Webb for the accomodation 🏠
