Hello Everyone,

Dodgie has asked me to let you know that he has had a heart attack this afternoon but he said he is ok & recovering well.

Obviously there will be no racing at Dodge Valley Motorplex tomorrow night.

I will provide more updates once I know more.

Race Wrap - 14.08.26

Apologies for the late Wrap this week.

Dodge Valley Motorplex had 8 racers on hand last Friday night ready to face the weekly 3 event challenge that this week included Pioneer Legends, RevoSlot GT & Open Trans-am.

Pioneer Legends got the racing underway on Hellcat Pass & saw Guru, Dodgie, Bazza & Professor all feature on heat winners list with Brett & Bruce both taking a pair of 2nd place finishes.

Bruce's car was quick but an intermittent power connection issue would rob him of an chance of an overall podium position but I think it's only a matter of time.

Dodgie was in form taking a clean sweep of race wins to take the overall win, finishing just under 3 laps ahead of Guru who had 1 heat win & 2 second place finishes while Professor took the final podium position with 2 wins & a second.

Brett had another strong result to finish best of the rest only 0.75 of a lap off tge the podium & led Bazza, Woodstock, Alby & Bruce to the chequered flag.

Next on track was RevoSlot GT on The Duster which looked to be a head to head battle between Guru & Professor for the outright win with both taking heat wins along with Woodstock, Brett & Alby.

Guru finished top of the pops with 3 heat wins & a second, just 0.57 of a lap ahead of Professor with 2 heat wins & 2 second place finishes.

Brett went one better to take the final podium spot just over a lap behind Professor with 1 heat win & 2 seconds.

Alby just missed out on the podium finishing just 0.38 of a lap behind Brett & was chased to the finish by Woodstock, Bazza, Dodgie & Bruce.

The night's racing concluded with Open Trans-am on The Duster & this time it was a 3 way dust up between Woodstock, Bazza & Professor who all registered heat wins along with Guru.

Woodstock was too strong finishing with 3 heat wins, a 2nd & a 6.8s fastest lap to take a well deserved outright victory with his self designed & built Charger.

Guru finished runners up overall & headed a trio of Mustangs with 1 heat win & 3 second place finishes while Bazza took 2 heat wins & a second to finish 3rd overall.

Professor was next best with 2 heat wins & 2 seconds while Bruce put in a great performance with his Comaro to secure a top 5 result.

He was followed by Alby, Dodgie & Brett.

Obviously there was no racing tonight so we will reconvene next Friday night to race the same categories all over again.

Racing Friday night from 6pm

Race Wrap - 07.08.26

The first Friday night of August 2026 saw 8 drivers on deck at Dodge Valley Motorplex including the long awaited return of Popey & Rino.

Vintage GP open proceedings on Hellcat Pass & saw 6 of the 8 drivers take at least 1 heat win each.

In an incredibly close race, Guru took the overall win with 2 heat wins & a second, by just 0.05 of a lap from Professor (1 win + 2x 2nds) with Woodstock (2 heat wins) just over half a lap behind Professor.

Brett drove well to take a heat win & just missed out on a podium, however he claimed the title of Best of the Rest finishing ahead of Popey (1 win + 1 second), Bazza & Rino.

18k NASCAR were up next on Hellcat Pass.
Bazza & Woodstock both drove well to finish with 3 heat wins each.

Woodstock managed a 2nd place finish to give him the overall victory by just 0.4 of a lap from Rino (1 win + 2x 2nds).

Bazza took the final podium position finishing just 0.32 of a lap behind Rino with Professor only 0.19 of a lap further behind & Dodgie 5th overall.

The final event of the night saw Pioneer Legends on The Duster.

Professor, Bazza, Dodgie & Rino were all heat winners while Brett, Woodstock, Popey & Guru all managed 2nd place finishes.

In another close finish, Professor took overall honours with 2 heat wins & a 2nd to finish just 0.16 of a lap ahead of Rino who took 3 heat wins while Guru borrowed Joey's car to finish his last heat & take 3rd overall with 3 second place finishes.

Dodgie was best of the rest this time & was chased to the chequered flag by Bazza, Popey, Woodstock & Brett.

The next 2 race nights will see Legends raced on Hellcat Pass with RevoSlot GT & Open Trans-am on The Duster.

Race Wrap - 31.07.26

The final Friday night race meeting of July 2026 saw 8 racers on hand at Dodge Valley Motorplex, including Bruce who made the 2+ hour trek for the weekly 3 race event program that featured Vintage GP, 18k NASCAR & Pioneer Legends.

Racing got underway on Hellcat Pass with Vintage GP with Alby, Professor, Woodstock & Guru all featured in the heat winners list.

Alby started strongly but Professor was just too good in the end taking the overall victory with a clean sweep of heat wins, finishing 1.26 laps ahead of Alby with 2 wins & 2 second place finishes while Woodstock secured the final podium position with 1 win & 1 second place finish to be 1.1 laps away from 2nd.

Bazza led the field to the chequered flag followed by Guru, Dodgie, Brett & Bruce.

Next on track was 18k NASCAR on HellcatPass.

Bazza was quick out of the blocks & joined Professor & Dodgie on the heat winners list.
This time it was Bazza who took the chocolates by 1.5 laps from Professor while Dodgie finished in the last podium spot just over a lap behind.

Guru finished best of the rest this time followed by Bruce who making steady progress up the ladder.
Woodstock, Brett & alby.

The final race saw Pioneer Legends on The Duster & saw Dodgie, Guru, Bazza, Professor & Alby all taking heat wins.

Guru took 3 heat wins & a 2nd to take the overall victory by just under half a lap from Professor with a 1st & 2 second place finishes, while Bazza finished in 3rd overall with the same heat results.

Dodgie led the field to the chequered flag & was followed by Alby, Woodstock, Brett & Bruce.
