A huge congratulations and thank you to all our players, coaches, managers, volunteers and families for making this such a wonderful season of rugby.

From the early mornings and training sessions to the sideline cheers, muddy boots, big tackles, tries, laughs and friendships — it’s been a fantastic year both on and off the field.

Most importantly, we’ve loved watching our players grow, work together and enjoy their rugby each and every week.

🔶️10 Blue

Match Report - U10 Norhawks vs Hunters Hill at Boronia Park. The team went into this match knowing that a win would secure us a home semi-final. The odds were against us with injuries to key players and others unavailable. An awfully slow start in defence saw us down by 2 tries after less than 5 minutes, and we went to half-time down 26-0. At half-Time, we spoke about the importance of all players contributing, and not relying on key players to do the hard stuff. The players committed to working together to put pressure on the opposition. Despite the same players taking the field, the second half was a complete turnaround, with energy in defence and some great forwards hit-ups by Seb and Harry. The extra effort resulted in the opposition going scoreless in the second half, and two great tries to the Norhawks. The only thing that changed was our players’ commitment to each other. Despite the 26-14 loss, this game showed the kids the value of believing in, and working for, each other. It’s sets us up well for our semi-final next week against Norths Pirates. Players Player was Izzy, who played a great captain’s knock and led from the front through the whole game.

🔶️U11 Blue
A nail biter to finish the season for the u11 blues as they ran out deserved 21-19 winners against 3rd placed Balmain. A late score for Meatuai after sustained pressure on Balmain’s line, converted by Reuben proved to be the winner. The final whistle was met by a mixture of relief and celebrations from the players and supporters. It should also be enough to secure a finals spot next week.
In truth, the Bulls should have had a more comfortable afternoon as they left a number of tries out there. Their off loading game which has flourished in recent weeks again enabled them to create multiple scoring opportunities.
The coaches asked the team before the game to work hard for each other in what might have been their final game of the season and they certainly did. They defended doggedly out wide to restrict the opportunities for Balmain’s speedy backs.
There were a number of standout performances and choosing the players of the week is becoming ever harder. But the awards went to:
Dominos players player - Blake
Dominos coaches player - Felix
Mad Mex values - Cornelius

🔶️U12
The U12s had a slow start against Easts today, trading try for try until half time.
Once the second half kicked off, the forwards dominated the line and the backs applied pressure, with the Bulls running away to 39-24 point win.
This places us in 3rd and sees us into semis next week.
Mad Mex Players of the week were Jack & Dean with lots of quiet effort in the rucks that turned over balls to our favour.

🔶️U13 Blue
U13 Blue lost today against St Pats who were desperate to ensure they secured a top 4 spot. The boys still hold on to fourth spot on the ladder and should be very proud to make semi finals despite playing most weeks with little or no bench due to some serious and long term injuries impacting player availability.

🔶️U13 Red
U13 reds went down to the Manly savers 26-22 this afternoon.
We started slowly letting the Savers out to an early lead. A strong second half saw us take the lead 22-21 with minutes to go. Unfortunately we couldn't close it out. Player of the day was Brax whos second efforts kept us in the game. A big thanks to Adam from the u12s and Will from the 13 blues stepping up for us today.

🔶️ U15
It’s Mad Monday for the U15s, As we come to the end of another rugby season, we would like to say a huge thank you the Norwest committee, to all our players, families, coaches, volunteers and supporters.
Your commitment, encouragement and support throughout the season has meant so much. Win or lose, the teamwork, friendships and memories made along the way are what make rugby so special.
Thank you for being part of the journey and for supporting the team every step of the way.
We are incredibly proud of everyone and look forward to season 2027 ahead! 💙❤️

It’s been a fantastic season of rugby, and with just one round to go, everyone is continuing to work hard, and give it their all right to the end.
So proud of how far all our little Bulls have come this season! 🐂

🔶️U7 Match Report
The u7’s had a couple of tough games today, one against Blue Mountains and the other against Redfield. The mini Bulls had their second tackle game of the year showing the opposition how to make a great tackle. The team worked well in contact off loading the ball to ensure everyone got a run, in both games the opposition lent norwest a player and they soon settled into Bulls attacking style of rugby. Player of the match went to Lyo who made some amazing runs with Harvey getting the mad Mex MVP who showed great strength and determination all game. Well done to all u7’s on a great day of rugby
