Here’s bit of an update on my car now that it’s off the back burner. Finally did 2 solid days of measuring and swapping out all the suspension ruling out that damage compared to the chassis. After my findings the chassis is looking way more repairable than we all thought. This time next week it will be going in for spinal surgery to be pulled and straightened on a chassis jig and we possibly will be returning to the track this year as long as there no new interruptions along that way.
It’s such a great feeling seeing my car that I put a tremendous amount of time and effort into to actually rolling and steering mostly straight on all 4 wheels once again!

Well I finally finished an endurance race breaking my personal curse. 5th time lucky!
And considering the circumstances this car fought me all the way but i wasn’t going to let it beat me and the team I race with. Prior to qualifying the brake master cylinder was leaking we changed it out for a replacement one which also failed producing no pedal pressure at all no matter how many times we bled the system try all different methods it just wasn’t meant to be on to the third master cylinder which finally worked but missed out on qualifying resulting in rear if grid start
We started from 54th on the grid, 2nd last. Josh the owner had fantastic drive staying calm and composed in he’s third ever race marching up the ladder until making our first and only compulsory 5 minute pit stop at lap 37. The team refuelled the car and i jumped in for the back half of the race. Unfortunately we pitted 2 laps early just missing the safety car which would have yielded a better result even though we had a really strong finish. Me being a veteran of the race I knew what I had to do drive to a number and bring the car home.
I had a few close calls and battling it out with other competitors on my 39 lap stint but nothing I can’t manage. And I brought the car home to 7th out right and 4th in class out of
55 cars.
Thanks to all who were involved on the day as pit crew I greatly appreciate your efforts.
Thanks to A & M Racing and Josh for including me in their team over the weekend and given me the opportunity to personally redeem myself over past events as most of you know have gone particularly smooth.
Next time hopefully it will be me and my car chasing out right victory.
Stay tuned because there’s more updates to come from the past month or so on my car and other projects I’ve been involved in.

I’ve been quiet for a bit as I’m heading but now I’m starting the process again of building or rebuilding the race car!
Massive thanks to Honed developments and Spoolup for replacing and sourcing parts.
Again at this stage I’ll be changing a couple of things and improving again to make my car faster.

Here’s my best 2 laps of the weekend also lap right before the crash. Was a dream come true to race around the legendary mountain. Definitely more in the car and me maybe in the future I can find out.
MRA Super TT Mount Panorama Race 2 Fastest Laps First time driving around the mountain so I jumped in the deep end. Here are my fastest 2 laps before I was hit from behind and wrecked my newly built car.

So the time has come to share the damage and cause. I was running 5th out right and setting PB’s every lap before I lost a boost pipe. Limping the car home I unfortunately was pit manoeuvred by a passing car that shouldn’t have been trying to over take on that particular corner. All 4 corners of the car have come into contact with another car or a concrete barrier.
The left side of the car copped it the hardest bending both front chassis rails to the right and folding the rear subframe and putting ripples throughout the floor pan this is what happens when you hit a wall at 4G of force.
I’ve suffered broken ribs and internal bruising but nothing that I can’t live with.
At this stage I’m formulating a plan to try and save this chassis with some good friends of mine but will take some time. This one hurt me a lot mentally because as of the incident the car was 3 weeks old after completion and all that know me personally or have followed me over the years know the effort and time I went through to build my dream car mainly solo. But this isn’t the end and I’ll keep pushing on and to get back to the track but first in need to heal physically because I’m in a bit of pain haha.
Stay tuned for updates and progress
And many thanks to all my family, friends, sponsors and followers for all the kind words and support over the years!
I’ll sure to be back with a smile on my face and battling it out on the track.
I will also add racing around Mount Panorama is an absolute dream and awesome experience!
