Started our night on the right foot with some speed in qualifying! But unfortunately my RR went bye bye with 12 laps to go and ended up on the hook to finish.

On the bright side it's great to be racing at the front end of the field again. I was feeling good, and had some speed to close out the last 12 laps if I hadn’t have shredded that tire.

Starting to feel more comfortable at Toowoomba, it’s been good to get some reps in here before The Champs next month.

Thanks to my guys Bruce and Shayden & the Hobson Family Racing team for grinding through September and sticking at it. We haven't had it go how we wanted. But one thing is for sure, we always keep at it!

All washed up and in one piece!

Bit of carnage out there tonight for the opening night at Hi-Tec Oils Toowoomba Speedway.

Maybe one of these days soon I’ll be able to time in and get my night started on the right foot.

Starting on the 5th row in P9 I managed to make up two places for a P7 finish.

This HFR team isn’t far away from putting it all together. Big thanks to my guys for working hard at it all night.

We’ll get the NZ79 turned around and do it all over again tomorrow!

That's a wrap on Chariots of Thunder 2026. Big thanks to Northline Speedway for putting on a fantastic event across the three nights.

Not the results I was chasing, but it was great to get back behind the wheel and knock the rust away after taking the winter off.

We just couldn't time in, which put us on the wrong foot all three nights. As we all know, if you can't make the dash, you're pushing s**t uphill to finish anywhere near the pointy end.

That didn't stop our new HFR NZ79 team from having a crack. Come feature time we were pretty racy. Looking back at the tape, I picked up 17 spots across the three features, finishing P5, P5 and P11, and grabbed Hard Charger on the final night as well.

Big thanks to Brett, Laura and the HFR team for making the effort to get our season started up in Darwin. The logistics of making that trip with two cars is no joke.

I'm en route to -Tec Oils Toowoomba Speedway with the NZ79 as we speak for two weekends of racing. New track, new weekend, LFG! Catch you there Friday.

Ready to finish off the Chariots of Thunder strong! Sitting 6th in points heading into tonight, this HFR team will be doing everything we can to get up the final ladder.

Ground hog day for night 2 of The Chariots of Thunder. Almost identical to night 1. Timed in badly, then spent the rest of the night building some momentum to finish P5 again.

Starting to get more of a handle on Northline Speedway as well.

Credit to my HFR team this week, it hasn’t been smooth sailing, but we’ve kept at it and managed to salvage some consistent results.

Ready to go here at Northline Speedway for night ✌️of Chariots of Thunder.

I’ll be the 9th car out for qualifying tonight.

Finished with a bit of momentum last night, here’s hoping it can carry into tonight.
