All 3 of our teams walked away with wins this week, Reggie’s beating Wallaby’s 38 - 8, Women taking the dub against Fitzroys 22 - 14 and our A grade boys storming home with an impressive 70 - 20 win against Fitzroy.

And while all the teams were on fire this week, it isn’t without the help of our volunteers, who go above and beyond to ensure teams can take the field, home games can run smoothly and spectators can enjoy games comfortably with hot food and cold drinks!

So this weeks Non-player of the Match goes to our dedicated volunteers, you know who you are and we are so very thankful to each and every one of you!

This weeks players of the match thanks to our amazing sponsors KNL Engineering and Universal Cranes:

Reggies - Michael White. Wh**ey played a massive role in helping our Reggies boys get a 28 - 12 win over Yeppoon, including getting the first meat pie of the game!

Women’s - Lara Horan. Lara put her body on the line and stepped up to help our women’s team secure their 18-14 win over the Gullies girls!

A Grade - Aija Sheehan. Aija had moments of pure magic, including kicking off what was a closely contested game with Yeppoon with a try. Unfortunately in the dying minutes of the game, the boys went down 26 - 22.

It was an amazing night down at Diehards, with the pig pen filled with Old Boys and the sidelines lined with people cheering on our Boys and Girls in Royal Blue.

We would like to thank everyone who worked behind the scenes to make the day a success, and give a special shout out to Tui Isaiah Tamani, who not only set up his barber shop down at the fields to get the boys looking fresh, but also chucked in an additional $100 for each of our players off the match!

This weekend, our A Grade and Women’s team take on Rocky Brothers in Rocky, with our Reggie’s boys having a much deserved rest, with a bye!

Congratulations to the winner of our 50/50 Raffle last night, Tallara Horan!

Lara took home an impressive $2,990!

We would also like to say a massive thank you to everyone who purchased tickets & came down to celebrate Old Boys Day with us!
