𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬

Pony Club Victoria is excited to announce the qualifying criteria for the 2027 Pony Club Victoria State Dressage and Showjumping Championships, with two significant changes creating more opportunities for riders to compete at State level.

1) 𝙊𝙥𝙚𝙣 𝙩𝙤 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙧𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙬𝙝𝙤 𝙢𝙚𝙚𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙦𝙪𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙘𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙖
From 2027, both the State Dressage and State Showjumping Championships are open to all riders who meet the relevant qualifying criteria.

This is an exciting change for PCV and means that riders who achieve the required qualifying performances will be eligible to compete at State Championships, providing more members with the opportunity to experience competition at the highest level of Pony Club Victoria competition.

2) 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙈𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙎𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣
The 2027 State Championships will also introduce a Masters section in all grades.

The Masters section will be open to members over the age of 25 years.

This exciting addition recognises the continued participation and commitment of our adult riders and provides Masters riders with the opportunity to compete for State Championship honours in their own section.

𝙈𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙖𝙣 𝙚𝙢𝙖𝙞𝙡 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙛𝙪𝙡𝙡 𝙙𝙚𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙦𝙪𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙧𝙚𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨. These details are also available on the news section of our website.

Central Zone of Pony Club C CERTIFICATE 2026 ~ SAVE THE DATE!
Next C Certificate Assessment – Saturday 3rd October, 2026. Location TBC.
Also offering D and D* assessments to assist clubs who struggle to get this done at rallies or need assistance
Both D and D* certificates are prerequisites for the C certificate.
Pony Club Victoria requires riders aged 14 and over who have been members for two or more years to hold a C Proficiency Certificate to complete at a State level event (including games, musical
ride, dressage, etc).
Riders must register for the assessment days before the closing date (not after!)
Clubs PLEASE check your emails, CZES Jayde has emailed ALL CZ Clubs with a list of riders that need certificates. If your club has not received and email: check your contact list on JUST GO, then email [email protected] for your Club list.
