It’s Elimination Final weekend, and we’ve got one last chance to fight our way through to the next round!

Round 17 wasn’t our round. With four losses across the day, Brigades were simply too good for us on the day.

We’ll regroup, refocus and hit the track at training this week ready to put in the work and turn things around next week.

We know what we’re capable of — now it’s time to show it. 💙🤍

🏉 WHAT A HUGE WEEKEND FOR THREE AMAZING WOMEN!
We couldn’t be prouder of three talented girls with strong Geraldton football connections!
⭐ Fina Dethlefsen will make her AFLW debut for Richmond on Saturday in their clash with the Western Bulldogs!
🏆 Tiani Teakle, captain and Jasmine Johansen will take the field in the 2026 ATCO WAFLW Grand Final — Swan Districts v East Fremantle!
All three girls have come through Great Northern Football League football community, with connections to Railways Football Club and Northampton Football Club, and it’s fantastic to see them taking their talent to the highest levels.
We are incredibly proud of what they have achieved.
It just goes to show that dreams really can happen — and there is some seriously good stock coming out of Geraldton!
Good luck girls! We’ll be cheering you on!

Weekend Wrap 💙🤍

A fantastic weekend for Railways with strong performances across all four grades!

Colts: A strong team effort with great structure, discipline and work rate. After taking control early, the boys responded when challenged and finished strongly, with the leaders stepping up when it mattered.

Reserves: The boys started strongly and controlled the game with great discipline and work rate. Despite a quieter third quarter, they lifted when it mattered to secure a great team win.

Women’s Wrap- a tight contest from start to finish, with both teams fighting hard until the final siren. The girls dominated possession in the forward half in the last quarter and created plenty of opportunities, but unfortunately couldn’t quite capitalise. A strong team effort with plenty of positives to take forward and plenty of confidence heading into next week! 💪

League: A dominant performance from the opening bounce. Physical, disciplined and relentless, the boys ran out convincing winners and now have a Top 2 finish in their sights with Brigades next week! 🔥
