YIN YOGA • WEDNESDAY 5:30PM
A chance to slow down in a world that never seems to stop.
Unlike fast-paced exercise classes, Yin Yoga invites you to settle into supported postures for longer periods, gently nourishing your connective tissues, joints, fascia and nervous system.
Benefits of Yin Yoga:
Improve flexibility and mobility
Release tension held deep in the body
Support healthy joints
Calm the nervous system
Reduce stress and overwhelm
Improve sleep and recovery
Create space for stillness and self-reflection
Leave feeling:
Lighter
Softer
More grounded
Deeply relaxed
Ready for a restful night’s sleep
Join Anne-Maree every Wednesday at 5:30pm and give yourself permission to pause.

What a fabulous year to turn 50. 💛
I feel like I should have a passport just for all of these celebrations. We are only 6 months in.
I’ve just returned from a little getaway celebrating birthdays, friendship and laughter.
We stayed by the ocean.
Paddled on a SUP board alongside turtles and dolphins, and dear friends.
Wandered along a beach made not of sand, but millions of tiny white shells.
Watch the sky put on its own masterpiece—dusty pink melting into purple, then glowing orange as the sun slipped away.
Here’s to adventure, friendship, W.A.sunsets, and embracing every year with open arms.

Wednesday, but make it restorative.
Start your day slow with Rise & Restore at 7:30 AM — gentle movement and stillness to ease you into whatever’s ahead. Or unwind in the evening with Yin Yoga at 5:30 PM, where we hold long, supported postures to release tension held deep in the body.
Whether you’re an early riser or winding down after work, there’s a space for you on the mat this Wednesday.

Not one photo was taken at our Sunday workshop, but what I do have is the low down on how to make the raw treat we enjoyed. And the detailed recipe that you can save for later.
Raw Tahini and Choc Slice.
Enjoy.

Yin Yoga can look slow, gentle and passive from the outside
But beneath the stillness, something powerful is happening.
As we hold poses for time, we begin to work with the body’s connective tissues and fascia, helping to create space, hydration and ease throughout the body.
Many of us assume tightness is coming from our muscles alone, but often the fascia surrounding the muscles can create restriction too.
Yin gives the body time to respond differently—not by forcing change, but by allowing it.
And while all of this is happening physically, the nervous system is also receiving an opportunity to slow down, soften and rest.
If your body has been feeling tight, restricted or simply in need of some care, Yin Yoga might be exactly what you need.
Join me on Wednesdays at 5:30pm at Geraldton Yoga Studio and experience the benefits for yourself. 🩶

This week I went to a day spa for the first time in I-don’t-know-how-long. The moment I walked in, I felt cared for, nurtured, softer somehow… and I found myself wondering, why did I wait so long? 🤍
It got me thinking… maybe this is how you feel about yoga.
Maybe you used to attend a class. Maybe you once had a regular practice. But somewhere along the way, life got busy and you stopped.
So maybe this is your sign to come back.
To roll out your mat again. To reconnect with your breath, your body, your mind. To remember how good it feels to take care of yourself.
We’d love to welcome you back to your mat.
You can a class I teach .
