Daniel Noonan has been playing American football since 2000 — starting with the Geelong Wildcats before helping build the Buccaneers from the club's founding in 2004. He coached and played at the same time from 2005 right through to 2023, and now leads the men's team full time as head coach.

Beyond the club, Daniel has also head coached the Victorian Eagles state team to a national championship in 2026.

His philosophy? Simple: toughness.

Meet Melo. 🏈
Two seasons in, and he's already one of the boys. Carmelo "Melo" Osa joined the Buccaneers after his dad brought him down for a hit out — and he hasn't looked back.
His advice for anyone thinking about it? "Just have a crack."
