Scott's tireless volunteer work creates amazing opportunities for people of all abilities to get active, make friends and be part of a supportive community. Many of the fantastic kids from GAASC train right here in our dojo thanks to Scott's dedication.

First night of Minis Football at Stars HQ and good to be back outdoors.

Geelong All-Abilities Sports Club is incredibly proud to be well represented at the Disability Sport and Recreation Awards, with our club named as a finalist in three categories.

To receive this recognition is an amazing achievement and a wonderful acknowledgement of the incredible work of our volunteers, members, families and supporters.

It also highlights the positive impact that inclusive sport can have in our community, creating opportunities for people of all abilities to participate, connect and achieve.

We are proud to stand alongside so many inspiring finalists, showcasing some fantastic initiatives from sporting organisations across the state, as well as recognising outstanding personal achievements.

Being recognised in three categories is a huge honour for our young club and reinforces our commitment to continuing to grow inclusive sport and create even more opportunities for people with disabilities.

Our very own Scott Smith has been named a finalist for Westfield Local Hero!

Scott dedicates countless hours volunteering, creating opportunities for people of all abilities to get involved in sport, connect with others and feel part of a community.

His commitment, passion and hard work have helped our club grow and make a real difference to so many families.

YOUTH LAWN BOWLS PROGRAM

The Geelong Stars are running a Lawn Bowls Program at Eastern Park Lawn Bowls Club

The 3 week program is a perfect introduction into rock climbing for people with disabilities aged 12 - 18.
