When this ingural team was put together to build a pathway for our players in our Wednesday night competition earlier this year, nobody really knew what to expect.

Some girls had plenty of experience, others were completely new to 8a-side indoor cricket. Different outdoor clubs, different backgrounds and different levels of experience all coming together under one banner “NimbleHits” ‼️

Fast forward six rounds…

This group has become one of the toughest teams to play in the Indoor Sports Victoria Women’s A competition. Being the only participating country indoor team 👥

This competition is stacked with experienced players, state representatives and long established clubs, but the Valkyries haven’t taken a backwards step all season having a chance to pinch a spot in finals this week 😤

These girls have earned a massive home crowd. They’ve sqaured up with some of the best women’s indoor cricket teams in Victoria all season, and now it’s our turn to get behind them 🗣️

Bring your mates, bring the family, make some noise and help us turn NimbleHits into the loudest venue in the competition

Massive congrats to Sam Colliver, Finn McKee, Ashton Mitchell and Hunter Johnston on representing team Victoria Red at the U16 Australian Indoor Cricket Nationals ‼️

A shoutout as well to NimbleHits very own Tyler, Vedant and Vihang for leading the U16s Victoria Red program to an incredible turnaround. In just the second year of the Victoria Red having its own representative team, they went from 0–9 in 2025 to 4–5, a top-four finish and a semi-final appearance in a 10-team competition in 2026. That’s huge progress 🗣️

It’s also great to see Panav Doshi, Rishi Shah and Avaniish Kotian continuing their indoor cricket journey with our home club, North Geelong Supercats Indoor Cricket, in the Indoor Sports Victoria Men’s 2 and Vic League competitions 👥

This is exactly why we do what we do at NimbleHits. Watching kids come through our junior indoor cricket programs, fall in love with indoor cricket, and then go on to represent Victoria or play senior state-level cricket is something we’re incredibly proud of ⚪️🔵
