💙 A Heartfelt Thank You 💙

After nine incredible years, it is with a heavy heart that I share that Kylie’s Swim School will not be reopening for Term 3.

Unfortunately, our landlord has decided not to renew our lease, as they require the building back for their own business purposes. While this isn't the ending I had hoped for, I am choosing to focus on what has made this journey so incredibly special.

To every family who has walked through the doors of my swim schools over the past nine years—thank you.

Thank you for choosing us. Thank you for trusting myself and my amazing team with your children's swimming and water safety education. It has been an absolute privilege to watch thousands of little swimmers grow in confidence, competence achieve milestones, overcome fears, and develop lifelong skills in the water.

Over the past few weeks, I have been overwhelmed by your kindness. The flowers, gifts, beautiful cards, heartfelt messages, hugs and words of encouragement have touched me more deeply than I can ever express. Every gesture has reminded me just how special this little community has always been.

What I will treasure most isn't the pool or the building—it is the community we created together. A place where families supported one another, children celebrated each other's achievements, and so many wonderful friendships were formed. That is something no one can ever take away.

I sincerely hope that we have made a lasting difference to your family's swimming and water safety education. Knowing we've played even a small part in helping children become safer, stronger and smarter swimmers is something I will always be proud of.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for allowing me to do what I have loved every single day. Your support, loyalty and friendship over the past nine years have meant more than you'll ever know.

To my team and all the swim teachers and administration staff who have played a part in our beautiful community and the lives of our little people, I couldn't have done it without you'd we all appreciate you.

While this chapter has come to an unexpected end, the memories and the community we've built together will stay with me forever.

We’re looking for a qualified Learn to Swim Teacher to join our supportive, fun and dedicated team in Townsville!

✔ Must hold a Swim Australia Teacher of Swimming certificate (or equivalent)
✔ Current Blue Card required
✔ Regular shifts available – mornings, afternoons & Saturdays
✔ Flexible workload – from 1 shift per week up to 6 days

💜Our Goal
To educate, inspire & support parents in teaching their little loves how to be confident, safe and skilled in & around the water.

At Kylie’s Swim School, our early years program is designed to gently nurture your child from their very first splash through to confident & competent independence.

Our Program ~
💦 Bubba Splash Program - two different classes
• 6–12 months (non-mobile) and
• 12–18 months (mobile)

💦 Toddler Program
• 18 months – 2.5 years

💦 Transition Program
• 2.5 – 3 years
The stepping stone towards independent, teacher-led classes.

Our classes focus on water safety, skill development and confidence — while also supporting your child’s overall wellbeing and development in a calm, nurturing environment.
✨ 30-minute lessons
✨ Only 6 children per class
✨ Heated indoor facility – perfect all year round
✨ Clean, spacious change room & change table areas
✨ Led by our passionate teachers — who are mums themselves and highly skilled in swimming, water safety and early childhood development

📅 Available:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday mornings
(Saturday mornings + Wednesday & Thursday afternoons currently have a waitlist)
No matter where your little one is at — first swim experience or already water confident — we meet each child at their individual level and help them flourish.
