A fun day at the Townsville City Autosports Club - TCAC Go for Gold Rallysprint at Charters Towers. Back at it bright and early tomorrow morning! ( If anyone knows of an Evo 6 rear bar for sale let us know as we're gonna be in the market for one🤦‍♀️)

This is a great fun pace noted event and would be great for anyone down south wanting to come on a northern adventure or just looking for a chance do some testing before Classic Qld.

Well we made it to the finish line but it certainly wasn't easy, some rallies test us and Jimna was certainly one of those. The first stage was great but on stage 2 we lost the front brakes which caused us to have to drive through at a non-competitive pace so there went any chance a a good result. A 15 minute service followed so the boys had to work quickly to resolve the problem and the car was great on stage 3 but on stage 4 the brakes locked on leaving us partially blocking the stage and whilst we did eventually get going again about 20 minutes was lost. After a 50 minute service and more time for repairs we did finish the final 4 stages without issue. Thanks to Bradley Smith and Shaun De Oliver for servicing, working so hard and braving the cold, to Adam O'Brien at Bear Electrical for sponsoring the event and Matt Sosimenko for directing a great event.

It's rally day (and happy Queensland Day), over 1360km travelled to Jimna for Round 2 of the Queensland Rally Championship. It's a little fresh in the service park this morning but the coolness will make for a nice change in the car.

So we thought we'd take another drive south before the cost of fuel goes up again for Round 2 of the Queensland Rally Championship the Bear Electrical Jimna Rallysprint. Car # 8
