2026 Aust GC Gold & Silver Medal | 2-4 Sept

The prestigious 2026 Australian Golf Croquet Gold & Silver Medal is set to get underway from Wednesday 2nd until Friday 4th September at Cairnlea, Victoria.

The Players
The six players have qualified through winning their respective state bronze medal and line up at Cairnlea tomorrow for 3 exciting days of competition to determine the Winner of the Gold & Silver Medal on Friday‼

2026 Macrob Team Update - Sun 9 August ‼📅

Our Aussie team are entering the final day of what has been a wonderful 2 weeks of Croquet played in great spirit in a Centennial year for the MacRobertson Shield in 2026 💯

There are 3 doubles matches to be played on the final day in the Test between 🇦🇺 and 🇺🇸

2026 Macrob Team Update - Sat 8 August ‼📅

A special shoutout to our team manager, James Carlisle who was called into duty before the start of the final test against Team USA 🇺🇸 following an injury to Trevor Bassett which has ruled him out of the remaining matches.

It was a special moment for James being presented with his first baggy green cap (cap 7️⃣4️⃣) in front of team mates and members of the other teams 👏👏👏

Competing in his first Macrob, James was introduced to Croquet by his parents after hitting his first ball aged 2 years old!

When James was interviewed before leaving Australian shores to fullfil his duty as team manager, he said, "I’ll hopefully only be a reserve, but it's great to be returning to my first home, England, where I originally learnt to play croquet, to represent my new home, Australia, which has helped rekindle my love for the game".

Good luck James, we know you will play with pride and Aussie spirit! 🇦🇺
