Well done to Greg Fisher today winning his quarter final in the Rookie singles but unfortunately went down in the semi to eventual winner Tiffany from Mona Vale. Congrats Tiff and well played.
Best of luck to the Men’s and Women’s Pennant sides competing in the State Finals this week.

The final of the Handicap Pairs was played today and in a close match coming down to the last bowl. Congrats to S Gibson & M Anania def S Allcorn & H Banfield 24-22. Well done to all with an exhibition of great bowls and many spectators. Also congrats to Greg Fisher winning his section in the Rookie Singles also today at Harbord. Good luck Greg tomorrow in the finals at Belrose.

Harbord Minor Singles was played today. Stephen Gibson def Matt Frost 25-9 in a great match. Well done to both players.

Harbord Open Triples was played this weekend in perfect conditions over 2 days with 28 teams competing. Congrats to the winners Derek Woodstone, Steve Smith, and Steve Ashdown; 2nd place Ral Lewis, Jamen Lewis, Kenta Treacher; 3rd place Mark Delia, Hayle Banfield, Paul Leckey.

The Phil Carroll and Past Members Memorial Day was held yesterday at Harbord BC.
With great weather and 84 bowlers participating a great day was had by all.

State Mixed Pairs Qualifying Finals we’re played at Chatswood BC today. Congrats to Harbord’s Virginia Longfellow and Mark Alexander and Jenny Hepburn (NeutBay) and Alan McMaster (WPym) on winning through to the State Finals in Dubbo next year. Well done to all.

2025 Club Triples Final was played today in great conditions at Harbord. A very tight match all the way through with Paul Brittain, Steve Smith, Mark Alexander defeating Michael Sparozvich, Steve Ashdown, Terry Warder, 21-20 in another great final coming down to the last bowl. Thanks to the spectators and the volunteers and umpires for a great weekend.

Great day at Belrose BC in the Region Rookie singles qualifying. Congratulations to George Bull winning through to the State Rookie Singles finals to be held next month. George is also through in the Rookie Pairs with Peter Greenwood. Best of luck to the Harbord Rookie bowlers.
