The Marist Year 9s have done it! A thrilling Preliminary-final victory on the weekend has secured their place in the Grand Final next Sunday at 1:00pm at Charles Riley Reserve, where they will take on Ocean Ridge. 🔵⚪️
What makes this achievement even more impressive is the journey this team has been on. Starting from 4th place, merging two teams after Round 5 and battling through a season impacted by injuries, these young men have shown incredible resilience, determination and belief.
Under the fantastic leadership of their coaches, the team has come together as a strong and united group and earned their opportunity to play for a premiership. 💪
Congratulations to all the players! Everyone at Marist is incredibly proud of what you have achieved this season and, more importantly, the Marist spirit, teamwork and commitment you have shown along the way.
Now it’s time for one more big effort!

It’s win or go home for the boys, with a place in next week’s Grand Final on the line. They’ve worked hard all season and now they need the Marist community behind them!

A Session to Remember
With Claremont Football Club Co-Captains, including two Sandover Medallists and two of the players being former Marist players taking the Marist Year 7 boys through training this week, there’s certainly every reason for the boys to be ready to play well in tomorrow’s final!
The boys enjoyed a fantastic session with Bailey Rogers, Callan England and Max Spyvee, who generously gave up their valuable time to come back to their community club and work with our young players.
It’s a fantastic example of the Marist pathway and the importance of giving back to the club that helped shape them.
A huge thank you to Bailey, Callan and Max from everyone at Marist Football Club. We really appreciate you taking the time to inspire and support the next generation of Marist players.

Footy Finals start this weekend with the unbeaten 9-10 girls playing Friday night at College Park against No2 Carine! Sundays games have yr 7 in their first finals campaign in their first year in youth! Yr 9 will also be playing in the afternoon with a tough game against Quinns...we encourage all Marist Supporters to try to get to a game to support our teams as they enter the finals week!

As the Marist Year 12 season comes to a bittersweet end, we celebrate an incredible achievement by two young men who have proudly worn the Marist jumper — Tyrese Deeka and Tom Butson, who have both reached the remarkable milestone of 150 games for the Club! 🏉💙
150 games is an extraordinary achievement in community football and represents years of commitment, dedication, friendships and memories created along the way.
We are incredibly proud to see Tyrese and Tom reach this milestone and earn their place on the Marist Honour Board as Player Life Members, joining the many past players who have reached this special achievement.
Congratulations, Tyrese and Tom — a fantastic milestone and one that will forever be part of the Marist Football Club story. 💙🏉

The Marist Football Club extends its deepest condolences to the Malone family following the recent passing of John Malone.
John was a founding figure of the Marist Football Club and a valued Life Member, with his name proudly engraved on the Club’s Honour Board.
The legacy and success of the Marist Football Club over the past 58 years has been built on the dedication, commitment and generosity of significant volunteers like John, who gave their time and energy to help create the wonderful community that the Club is today.
We acknowledge and honour John’s contribution to Marist Football and thank him for the lasting legacy he leaves behind.
Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with John’s family and friends at this difficult time.
