Womens Walking Football WA

A big shout out to all the Ladies playing walking football as we celebrate Female Football Week. It’s fantastic to see so many talented ladies on the field, enjoying the game and benefits of exercise and friendship.

The sport is open to all so let’s share and try to get more ladies involved in this great social game.

A fantastic group of people came together to showcase Walking Football at the Perth Glory Women v Melbourne Victory game at Sam Kerr Football Centre yesterday. It’s great to see these individuals all having fun and still playing football.

What a time to recognise all our women walking football players and reflect on how much the sport as grown in 5 years since our first women’s festival in WA. These women women who play every week are all inspirational and have great stories to pass on. ❤️

Felling inspired by the Women’s Asia Cup but not sure the body can manage the running, tackling and long games - TRY WALKING FOOTBALL.

There are lots of opportunities to play across Perth, the South West and Geraldton. It’s fun, social, non-contact and walking. All levels catered for - beginners, social through to competitive.

Join in the Wonens Football Funday this Sunday in Bunbury

A new hub for walking football in WA kicks off tonight offering both family friendly and competitive playing options. Get yourself along, take the kids, take your partner and try walking football. No problems if you’ve never played before, coaching will be provided.

Another fun morning down at Fox Fives in Floreat - 20 ladies, 4 teams, 6 games, lots of laughs.

What a fun night, playing walking football in Bunbury tonight. Emma Lynas and Football West are doing a great job growing this great sport in the Bunbury area and beyond. Another session next Monday at the South West Sports Centre go and give it a try.

What a fantastic morning at Fox Fives - great numbers including Betty from NSW and Michelle who is back from Melbourne. Great to see such a big turnout for first session of 2026.

Another fun morning at Fox Fives Floreat, great crew, some fantastic football and so many laughs - 4 teams with very close scores (not that anybody was counting).
