Royal life saving reports the leading cause of death in children aged 1, 2 and 3 years is drowning.
The main activity prior to drowning is falls into water and the main location is swimming pools.
Can your child recover from a fall into water?
Can they flip over onto their back to gain a breath?
Can they swim to safety if safety is within reach?
Can they remain in a floating breathing posture until help arrives if safety is too far?
Vital questions which need to be asked, answered and actioned to ensure your child’s water safety for now and in the future.
