Back-to-back Golden Boot glory for the Zebras! 🦓⚽️🔥

Massive congratulations to Ryan Chard on winning the 2026 IPL 1 Second Grade Golden Boot after netting an incredible 17 goals this season! 🥇✨

Ryan's achievement is a true reflection of his exceptional quality, relentless work ethic, and outstanding character both on and off the pitch. What makes this feat even more remarkable is that he achieved it despite spending considerable time playing up in First Grade throughout the campaign! Balancing both grades and still dominating the scoring charts speaks volumes about his commitment and ability.

A huge shoutout also goes to Ryan’s teammates and coaching staff, whose support and hard work helped pave the way for his success.

To top it all off, it was a massive year in front of goal across the entire squad, with the club boasting three players in the top five scorers of the division! Alongside Ryan at the top, Josh Bussoletti finished 3rd with 15 goals, and Daniel Cunzolo claimed 5th with 13 goals. An incredible attacking display from the league champions all year.

Jordan came to the club at the start of the year simply looking for a regular first-grade opportunity. Through sheer dedication, unwavering commitment, and relentless hard work on the training field and match days, he has earned this wonderful individual milestone.

This achievement is also a testament to the faith and tutelage shown by head coach Chad Bishop and his coaching staff, as well as the tireless support of Jordan’s teammates who helped create the chances all year long. Teamwork makes the dream work! 🖤🤍

🏁 Round 22 Match Report: Regular Season Wrap-Up

We wrapped up the IPL 1 regular season on Sunday, with a big day of football away against Bulli FC at Balls Paddock.

Here is how the action unfolded across all three grades:

Youth Grade | 5-1 Loss: A tough final outing for our young side against a strong Bulli team. The boys kept battling right through to the final whistle, with Yousif Alsaadi grabbing our lone goal. A massive thank you to our youth players for their growth, effort, and commitment all season long! ⚽️

Second Grade | 3-3 Draw: In a wild, high-scoring thriller, our League Champions shared the points to cap off a remarkable regular season! Alongside goals from Josh Bussoletti and Dane Carolla, Aiden Chard produced an absolute screamer—netting a genuine goal of the season contender to help ensure the boys stayed unbeaten heading into the finals! 🏆🔥💪

First Grade | 4-1 Loss: A challenging afternoon on the road to finish the regular season campaign. Jordan Prentovski found the net for the Zebras as the boys gave it their all. Thank you to the First Grade squad and coaching staff for their tireless effort and battle all year. 🖤🤍

On Sunday at Wetherall Park, our Second Grade side was officially presented with the league championship trophy to celebrate a truly remarkable regular season. 🦓✨

Having only dropped points in a single defeat and draw all year, the boys have put together an astonishing run of dominance—currently recording a staggering 18 wins in a row to now claim the league title!

The entire club could not be more immensely proud of this group. This historic success is a testament to the relentless hard work, quality, and consistency shown by the entire squad, led brilliantly on the pitch by Captain Jordan and steered by our dedicated coaching staff of Ralph, Matt, Lui, and Lino. 🖤🤍

The celebrations on Sunday were well and truly earned, but the focus now shifts entirely. We are carrying this incredible momentum and hunger straight into what promises to be a massive finals series. Let's go get it! 🇮🇹💪
