MASSIVE congratulations to our U13 Girls Div 1 — LEAGUE CHAMPIONS AND now GRAND FINAL CHAMPIONS!

What a season. What a game. What a team.

Down 1–0 at half-time, the girls dug deep, came back out fighting and found the goals they needed to take the win. 3-2. It was an absolute battle right to the very end, and they never stopped working, believing or playing for each other.

To finish the year as League Champions AND Grand Final Champions is an incredible achievement and a reflection of the hard work, commitment, growth and brilliant mindset this team has shown all year. We could not be prouder! 🏆

A huge congratulations to Lakeside Lions Junior Football Club on an incredible Grand Final and outstanding season. It’s been a pleasure sharing the field with you this year, always competitive, respectful and played in great spirit. 🧡❤️

A big thank you also to Football South Coast for another fantastic finals series, and to unanderraheartsjuniorfc for hosting the Grand Finals and providing a great stage for our teams to finish the season. 👏⚽️

And a massive shout-out to coach Frank Barila and manager Andrew Collins for their hard work, dedication and for keeping this group motivated, focused and believing all season.
