And what an afternoon of AFL Masters NSW footy for fun it will with our Joint Intraclub with our Macarthur Wombats - Footy for Fun mates. Don't get confused when you see Roos wearing Red or the Wombats in the great blue and white.

All members from all other Masters groups are very welcomed as well as any new players. Looking forward to see a few ladies joining in, and be great to see more join on the day.

🔵⚪ **25 GAMES FOR CRAIG "YEATSIE" YEATS** 🦘

25 games for Craig "Yeatsie" Yeats, and if you want to understand what this club is built on, you don't need to look much further than the big man himself. 💙🤍

Yeatsie owns that middle like it's his backyard. A ruck who reads the ball flight like he's got a direct line to it, every tap deft, every tap deliberate - Yeatsie knows exactly where that footy's going before it's even left his fingertips. He's a rover's dream, the kind of ruckman who makes the little blokes around him look like geniuses because he's already put the ball right where they need it. 🏉

Strong as an ox in the contest, throwing his weight around like it's nothing, and yet off the back of that raw strength there's a gentleman through and through - fair, respectful, the sort of opponent who'll out muscle you at the boundary throw-in and shake your hand at the final siren. 💪🤝

And Yeatsie loves a chat. Loves the banter, loves winding up his mates, loves being right in the thick of the club's spirit as much as he's in the thick of the contest. He's the bloke who'll do anything for anyone - no favour too big, no ask too small, always there when the club needs a hand. 🦘💙

But get him running towards a goal, and you see a different animal entirely - those big legs thundering into the turf, gathering speed like a freight train, and there's nothing quite like watching Yeatsie put one through from thirty out with a head of steam up. 🚂🏉🎯

Beyond all of it though, Yeatsie's story with this club runs deeper than games played. He's a founding father of Blue Mountains Masters - one of the blokes who looked at nothing and saw a club, who helped build this whole thing from the ground up so the rest of us could pull on the jumper and play the game we love. 💙🤍🦘

Our mates from Balmain AFC Masters were provided with what can only be described as a day as good as you get at Dukes.

Weather like it was Spring, a cracking afternoon of Masters footy, a sensational feed, and a great catch up for our last interclub for 2026. Look forward to our games in 2027 with the Tigers.

A couple of new faces for the Roos was great to see as well as the next generation of Blue Mountains Kangaroos/Mountain Lions JAFL Club Auskickers and juniors patrolling the ground. Only 30 years until they can join us!!

One last hurrah at Dukes next Saturday for 2026.

This week we have our last Interclub game for the year as we again welcome our mates from Balmain AFC Masters to Dukes Oval. We started our season with a hit out with the Tigers and it's great to have them back.

As always this will be played in true AFL Masters NSW footy for fun spirit, and be followed up with a good feed, some cold drinks and plenty of banter.

With only this and next week at Dukes, it is one of the last chances in 2026 to don the Blue and White jersey so get along. All are welcome.

We will have the Joey Club open for the kids with activities and snacks, and all supporters are welcome.

Fantastic to see some of the Blue Mountains Kangaroos/Mountain Lions JAFL Club Auskick parents and kids running around.
