Dear Members, Congratulations are offered to SSCUA member Ian Fletcher (picture attached) who this coming Saturday will stand in his 100th match in the Shires Competition. Saturday will see Ian officiating in the Fourth Grade Grand Final at George Parry Oval featuring Auburn and Warringah Cricket Clubs. On the day Ian will be partnered by Geoff Wheeler.

Ian joined the Association in November 2020 and since that time has made a significant contribution to our competitions being available on Saturdays and most Sundays. In recent years Ian has progressed up the ladder to now be one of our leading umpires in First Grade and richly deserves his appointment to a Grand Final this weekend.

This Saturday Ian becomes the 65th member of this Association to pass the milestone of 100 games in the Shires Competition. On behalf of all our members I congratulate Ian in reaching this milestone and may there be many more in the years to come.
