Are sore feet or aching ankles slowing you down? πŸ‘£ You are not alone β€” and the right footwear can make a real difference.

At Rehab Solutions, we often recommend Archies Thongs and Slides to our clients, and here is why they stand out:

βœ”οΈ Built-in arch support β€” Archies are designed with orthotic-level arch support right in the sole. This helps reduce strain on the feet and ankles with every step.

βœ”οΈ Heel cushioning β€” The contoured footbed absorbs impact, which can ease discomfort for those dealing with plantar fasciitis, heel pain, or general foot fatigue.

βœ”οΈ Proper alignment β€” Good footwear supports not just your feet, but your ankles, knees, and even your lower back. Archies help encourage a more natural foot position throughout the day.

βœ”οΈ Everyday wearability β€” Unlike bulky orthotics, Archies look like regular thongs and slides. Comfort does not have to come at the cost of convenience.

Whether you are recovering from an injury or simply want to protect your foot health long-term, choosing supportive footwear is a simple step that truly matters. πŸ™Œ

We believe small changes in your daily routine can lead to meaningful improvements in how you feel β€” and your feet deserve that care.

Have you tried supportive footwear before, and did it make a difference for you? We would love to hear your experience in the comments below. πŸ‘‡

Stronger bones are possible at any age. πŸ’ͺ

If you or someone you love is living with osteoporosis or osteopaenia, you may already know the worry that comes with it β€” the fear of fractures, the concern about staying active, and the uncertainty about what kind of exercise is actually safe.

That is where exercise physiology can make a real difference.

At Rehab Solutions, our exercise physiologists work with you to create a personalised program that is safe, evidence-based, and designed specifically for your bone health needs.

Here is how it can help:

🦴 **Builds bone density** β€” Weight-bearing and resistance exercises are proven to slow bone loss and, in some cases, help rebuild bone strength.

βš–οΈ **Improves balance and coordination** β€” Reducing the risk of falls is just as important as strengthening bones. A targeted program addresses both.

πŸ’‘ **Increases muscle strength** β€” Stronger muscles support and protect your bones, reducing the load placed on them during everyday movement.

🧍 **Boosts confidence** β€” Moving safely and feeling stronger can have a profound impact on your overall wellbeing and independence.

You do not have to navigate this alone. With the right guidance, exercise can be one of the most powerful tools in managing osteoporosis and osteopaenia.

We are here to support you every step of the way.

Have you ever been in a car accident and walked away feeling fine β€” only to wake up the next day with neck pain, headaches, or stiffness that just won't go away? πŸ€”

That could be Whiplash Associated Disorder (WAD), and you are not alone.

**What actually happens during whiplash?**

Whiplash most commonly occurs during rear-end vehicle collisions. When your car is struck from behind, your head is forced rapidly backward and then forward β€” faster than your muscles can react to protect you.

This sudden movement can place significant stress on several structures in your neck, including:

- The joints between your vertebrae (facet joints)
- Muscles and tendons in the neck and upper back
- Ligaments that support your spine
- Intervertebral discs
- In some cases, nerves exiting the spine

The result? Pain, stiffness, reduced movement, headaches, and sometimes tingling or weakness into the arms. Symptoms can also include difficulty concentrating, fatigue, and disrupted sleep β€” which can make everyday life genuinely hard.

**How can Rehab Solutions help?**

The good news is that with the right support, most people recover well. At Rehab Solutions, our Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology teams work together to create a plan that is right for you.

Here is what that can look like:

- Gentle hands-on therapy to ease pain and restore movement
- Education to help you understand what is happening in your body
- Targeted exercises to rebuild strength and stability in the neck and upper back
- Graded activity programs to help you return to the things you love safely
- Ongoing support to manage symptoms and prevent long-term issues

We understand that dealing with pain after an accident can feel overwhelming. Our approach is always honest, caring, and focused on what matters most β€” getting you back to feeling like yourself.

Recovery is possible, and you do not have to navigate it alone. πŸ’™

That nagging pain on the outside of your elbow β€” the one that flares up when you grip, lift, or even pour a cup of coffee β€” might be tennis elbow. And if it has been hanging around longer than it should, you are not alone. 🀝

At Rehab Solutions, we understand how frustrating it can be when pain gets in the way of everyday life. That is why we go beyond simply treating the symptoms.

Here is what sets our approach apart:

βœ”οΈ We properly assess and diagnose your condition β€” not just what it is, but why it happened in the first place.
βœ”οΈ We look into why it has persisted, because ongoing pain usually has a reason that has not yet been addressed.
βœ”οΈ We build a treatment plan that combines hands-on physiotherapy, thoughtful education, and practical activity modifications so you can move better and stay better.
βœ”οΈ We also offer Shockwave Therapy β€” a clinically supported treatment that targets stubborn tendon pain and supports your body's natural healing process.

Healing is not just about reducing pain in the moment. It is about understanding your body, making informed changes, and building a path forward that lasts.

If tennis elbow has been slowing you down, we are here to help β€” with honesty, care, and a plan that actually makes sense for you.

Meet Cassie Chan β€” one of the dedicated physiotherapists here at Rehab Solutions. πŸ‘‹

Cassie graduated from the University of Sydney in 2018 and has been committed to helping patients recover from injuries and reach their personal goals ever since. What makes her approach truly special is the genuine care she brings to every session.

Growing up, Cassie was a competitive swimmer 🏊 β€” and that experience shaped the way she practices physiotherapy today. She has seen firsthand how swimming and aquatic-based exercises can support recovery, which is why she is passionate about incorporating hydrotherapy into her treatment plans. It is not just a technique for her β€” it is something she truly believes in.

Cassie is also fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, making it easier for more patients to feel comfortable and understood during their care.

At Rehab Solutions, we believe that great physiotherapy starts with a practitioner who truly listens and understands. Cassie embodies that every day.

Have you ever tried hydrotherapy or aquatic-based exercises as part of your recovery? We would love to hear about your experience in the comments below! πŸ’¬

Becoming a mother is one of life's most profound experiences β€” but the recovery that follows is often harder than anyone talks about. πŸ’™

Your body has been through something remarkable. It deserves real care and attention, not just time.

At Rehab Solutions, we want you to know that postpartum physiotherapy is here to support you through that recovery β€” gently, safely, and at your own pace.

Here is what postpartum physiotherapy can help with:

βœ”οΈ Pelvic floor rehabilitation β€” to address weakness, pain, or incontinence
βœ”οΈ Diastasis recti (abdominal separation) β€” helping your core heal properly
βœ”οΈ Back and pelvic pain β€” common after pregnancy and delivery
βœ”οΈ Scar tissue care β€” for both C-section and perineal scars
βœ”οΈ Safe return to movement and exercise

You do not have to push through discomfort or accept pain as "just part of motherhood." Seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness.

Our Women's Health team at Rehab Solutions is here to listen, assess, and guide you with a plan that fits your body and your life β€” no judgment, no rush.

Recovery looks different for every mother, and that is completely okay. 🌿

We would love to hear from you β€” what is one thing you wish you had known about postpartum recovery before it began?

Meet Bridget Nash β€” one of the wonderful physiotherapists here at Rehab Solutions! πŸ‘‹

Bridget brings both heart and expertise to everything she does. She graduated with a Bachelor in Sports Science and a Masters of Physiotherapy, but her passion for helping people started long before that β€” as a young teenager, she knew she wanted a career that made a real difference in people's lives.

That purpose drives her every day.

Bridget has a special interest in:
βœ… Neurological conditions
βœ… Sporting injuries
βœ… Women's health
βœ… Pregnancy-related pain
βœ… Paediatrics

She has worked alongside junior AFL teams, supported neurological gym-based rehabilitation, and gained meaningful experience in paediatric care. Her goal is simple β€” to encourage every person she works with to be the best they physically can be.

And we are so thrilled to share that Bridget has recently welcomed a new baby into her life! πŸŽ‰ As someone with a deep passion for women's health and paediatrics, this new chapter feels very fitting.

We are so grateful to have Bridget as part of our team.

People often confuse acupuncture and dry needling because they use the exact same fine filament needles; but the way they heal your body is entirely different.

Dry Needling: This is pure anatomy and western sports medicine. We insert the needle directly into stubborn, locked-up muscle knots (trigger points) to force the muscle to twitch, release, and instantly drop its tension.

Acupuncture: Based on Traditional Chinese Medicine, this focuses on regulating your body's nervous system, reducing systemic inflammation, and promoting overall healing by targeting specific meridian points.

Meet Ned β€” the face behind the care. 🀝

At Rehab Solutions, we are proud to introduce Nadir Saadi, warmly known as Ned, one of our dedicated physiotherapists who brings both skill and heart to everything he does.

Ned speaks English and Arabic fluently, which means he is able to connect deeply with Arabic-speaking members of our community in Fairfield β€” making sure every patient feels heard, understood, and supported from day one.

His passion truly shines when he is working with children with disabilities, helping young ones move through challenges with patience and encouragement. He also brings great expertise to sports rehabilitation, guiding athletes of all levels back to doing what they love.

And when Ned is not in the clinic? You will find him in the boxing gym, out on the golf course, going for a run, or simply enjoying the great outdoors. He lives an active life β€” and that genuine love for movement is something he brings into his work every single day.
