The Aberfeldie Sports Club is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Dean Roumeliotis.

Dean, together with the Roumeliotis family, has long shared strong connections and friendships within the Aberfeldie Sports Club community.

On behalf of our members, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Dean's family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time.

Our thoughts are also with the Essendon Doutta Stars community as they mourn the loss of a valued and respected member.

May Dean rest in peace.

We’re excited to announce the signing of Jarryd Clements as a 1st XI player, Assistant Coach and Head of Development! 🏏

Jarryd joins Abers with a wealth of experience, having played Premier Cricket with Footscray Cricket Club and most recently led the junior cricket program at Keilor Cricket Club.

Alongside lining up with our 1st XI, Jarryd will play an important role in developing our players and strengthening the pathway between our junior and senior programs. His experience at Premier level, combined with his passion for coaching and player development, will be a fantastic asset both on and off the field.

We’re thrilled to have Jarryd on board and can’t wait to see the impact he’ll make across the club.

A tough way to finish the home & away season for our Senior Men, going down in the final round and narrowly missing out on a place in the top five.

It also marked the final game of the season for our U18.5 (2), with the boys finishing their campaign together.

There was plenty to celebrate, however, with both our Reserves and U18.5 (1) finishing top of the ladder and securing the Minor Premiership! 🏆

Congratulations to both sides on an outstanding home & away season — and best of luck as we head into finals. 🦍

What a performance from our U19 Women, who secured a massive win over Gisborne in yesterday’s Preliminary Final to book their place in the Grand Final!

One more to go. They'll now face Caroline Springs in the big dance, alongside our Reserves and Senior Women next Sunday.

FINAL ROUND OF THE HOME AND AWAY SEASON. 🔥💙

It’s the final home and away round for our Senior Men, and there’s plenty to play for across the program. Our Seniors face a must-win game to keep their finals hopes alive, while the Reserves and U18.5 (1) have already secured their spots in the finals. For our U18.5 (2), it’s their final game of the season after a tough campaign, but we couldn’t be prouder of the effort and commitment they’ve shown throughout the year. 💙
