Lizzie aka “big dog”

Lizzie started training with us around 12 months ago now, weights and all that jaz was all new, overwhelming and scary for Lizzie at that point. Lizzie’s goals were to get back into exercise, specifically to be strong enough to start running again and move pain free.

Almost instantly Lizzie kept stepping her training up with many PBs along the way… hence earning the offical name “big dog Lizzie”.

Fast forward a year Lizzie is hitting strength numbers she never imagined and is warming up with the weights that were a “no way” in her mind at the start. Even today Lizzie hit another goal 3 x 6 reps bench press @ 42.5kg 💪

4 weeks ago she hit another goal of doing push ups on her toes too!

Let’s not even talk about the body composition achievements and CMs lost over this last 7 weeks from her her nutrition plan & dedication.

Lizzie has grown so much in her self and it makes my heart smile so much seeing her glow and walk with confidence like she deserves. Lizzie is personally a strength fitspo goal for me and the others at Her.Formé too 🥰 Now we look at her like she looked at the other girls “wow, that’s crazy, she is impressive, so strong & fit”.

I couldn’t be more proud of you and happy for you Lizzie! YASSSSS QUEEN!

Little Madzy turned 1 week old today! Madzy and Mumma head coach Tammy are both well & healthy - enjoying their little love bubble with their family.

We can’t wait to watch this little one grow all the way from crawling to box jumps & deadlifts 💪

Today we covered common women health concerns and the role of correct exercise, recovery with exercise and the important role Women’s Health Physiotherapists play in the safety, prevention and management of these.

Some of the main areas of concern covered were;
- pregnancy
- post natal
- pelvic floor function
- incontinence issues
- prolapse
- ab separation
- pre/post menopausal
Etc.
