25m Pool closes 6pm Friday 29th May 2026.
LTS finishes 12th June 2026.

The 25m heater has been repaired and is warming up again. Thank you for your patience.

Heater on the 25m pool has stopped working again. Waiting for Central Highlands Regional Council to fix the issue. We apologise for the inconvenience.

25m is heated again, so come on down.

🐬Season aquatic closures🐬

We are readying up for our region’s seasonal closures of aquatic centres to carry out our annual off season maintenance.

The key dates are:

Emerald, the 50 metre pool will close from 20 April and the 25 metre pool from 29 May.
Learn To Swim (LTS) at Emerald remains open for LTS classes.

Sapphire will close from 17 April

Capella, Blackwater, Springsure and Rolleston will close from 24 April

Our aquatic centres will reopen for Spring.

Council will post again to advise you of the exact opening dates.
