Men’s Metro 1 South - Round 18 vs Cardinia Storm

Gritty last round for the Melbourne Razorbacks Hockey Club VL3 team to wrap up Season 2026.

Result was a 3-2 loss to the 3rd placed Melton Hockey Club.

Defensive team played an awesome game & didn’t let Melton run away.

Although Melton scored early, the Razorbacks were able to answer the first & second Melton goals and keep pace until late in the last quarter where Melton scored their match winning third.

Thanks to our supporters today - Em, Alice & Steve who made the journey out to Melton to cheer on the team

Ferg ended leading the goal scoring for the season, closely followed by Gordo & Dean.

Tough season & the team worked hard to achieve late season objectives.

Special thanks to both Chris & Will for going above and beyond both at training & match days keeping the team on the pitch, best prepared & with a plan. Your efforts are greatly appreciated.

Looking forward to summer season and season 2027👍

Another cracking win for the men's VL3!

Little Snorter has chosen Marcia Smith as the Melbourne Razorbacks player of the week

Wearing the legendary Number 5, Marcia tears up the field for both the WVL3 and WM1 - showing her love for hockey, she is never without a smile 😊

Behind the scenes, Marcia has kept the club financially on track performing the very difficult job of club treasurer. Little snorter is pleased to report that not only do the books balance, but the budget is on track thanks largely to the excellent work done by Marcia.

Thankfully, there isn’t many players with outstanding fee or uniform invoices. If you still need a little time to sort out your last couple of club invoices, are not sure where you are up to financially or even would like to make a tax detectable donation to the club, Marcia is always willing and able to help out

Our very own Emily Ward-Pahl has been chosen by Lil Snorter as Club person of the week!

As u can see by Em’s face, she was thrilled to be chosen! 😃

Em is the rock solid backbone of the Club, an on field leader whether in attack or defence, a supporter of players new and old and working on the committee Em is the driving force behind not only a number of the club events & initiatives, but also the administration and governance that helps keeps teams on the ground. A very passionate Razorback ❤️

Little snorter has been very busy this week. They loved getting dressed up in their rain coat to go to kinder

As you all know, being a small hockey club, we have many links and show support for other small clubs that share our values, and making opportunities for players who share our love of hockey.

Little Snorter visited & was welcomed by Hume Hockey Club, having an opportunity to have a hit with the juniors (and tried to sniff out the treats at the canteen)

Having no luck at the canteen Little Snorter ended the week with an ice cream with the girls
