24 years at Eltham. 18 on the committee. 13 seasons as President.

At November's AGM, Tim Adams steps down from the committee. The clubhouse, the change rooms, the ground redevelopment, the Christmas trees, a senior side back on the park — you can point at what changed on his watch.

We've set up a thank-you wall. If Tim has marked a ground you played on, poured you a drink, or talked you into volunteering, take two minutes and tell him it mattered. Every message goes into a keepsake book we'll present to him in November.

What a day at Bridge Street 🏉

Over 80 girls from Diamond Valley College, Eltham College and Parade College joined our own Eltham Barbarians for the first-ever Eltham Girls Tri Tag Carnival.

Within a couple of games they were reading the play, backing each other up and calling for the ball like they'd been doing it for years. Music playing, the canteen humming, the club rooms open — exactly the day we'd hoped for.

Congratulations to Diamond Valley College Blues, who topped the junior ladder, and to Parade College, who took out the seniors final.

A huge thank you to Sylvia Metcalfe and Alana Su'a, who built this day from an idea, to Gus Beale and Rugby Victoria for backing it, and to every volunteer who marked the ground, ran the BBQ, kept score and packed up at the end. Days like this don't happen without you.

We're two players short for our Eltham Barbarians team at the All Girls Tri-Tag Carnival, and we'd love to fill those spots with someone new.

📅 Tuesday 18 August, 9am – 3pm 👟 Years 8–12 (ages 13–18) 🏉 Non-contact tri-tag — no experience needed 💛 Free, and no registration required 📍 Eltham Rugby, 58 Bridge Street, Eltham

Never picked up a rugby ball before? This is honestly the perfect day to start. Tri-tag is non-contact, the team will look after you, and you'll be playing within about five minutes of arriving. Bring a friend, bring a water bottle, and that's it.

Finals night under lights at Brimbank. Wyndham were crowned U16 Girls season winners with a 24-10 win over Shepparton, before Shepparton finished 29-0 over Brimbank. A huge season from our players - and a big thank you to Coach Nick. That's a wrap on 2026!

This Tuesday the Eltham Rugby Football Union is hosting the first ever girls tri tag carnival. Everyone is welcome to come along and support is much appreciated! ❤️🖤💛

49-29! A hard-fought Round 13 win for our combined Northern/Shepparton/Eltham U14s at Maroondah. Strong defence, fantastic running rugby, and a team that binds tighter every week. The finals push is on!
