Wishing a very happy birthday to our President, Little Rugby & Walla Coach and U10s Manager! πππ€π€
Janine wears plenty of hats around the Vipers and can usually be found somewhere around the grounds β coaching the little ones, helping with the U10s, organising something behind the scenes or cheering on our Vipers kids.

THANK YOU, VIPERS COMMUNITY πππ€π
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make Saturdayβs Home Carnival happen. From the early morning set-up crew in some pretty wet and wild conditions, to those cooking on the BBQ, working in the kiosk, helping around the grounds and staying behind to pack everything down β our Home Carnivals simply wouldnβt be possible without the incredible volunteers who give their time to support our club. We are so grateful to every single person who put their hand up and helped throughout the day. β€οΈππ
We also want to extend a very special thank you to everyone from both the Vipers and Joondalup Brothers who came together so quickly during the medical emergency in our Under 12s game.
In an incredibly difficult and confronting moment, the response from those around the field was immediate, calm and supportive. To everyone who stepped forward to assist Quentin, helped manage the situation, supported those around them or simply did whatever was needed β thank you. We have received an update from Joondalup that Quentin is in good spirits and things are looking positive. And in true Quentin style, he has apparently advised that he is still only 50/50 to referee next week! ππ From all of the Vipers, we wish Quentin all the very best and hope to see you back on the field referring soon!
Saturday was a very big day for our club, and once again it showed just how special the rugby community can be when people come together and look after one another.
For anyone who was affected by what happened on Saturday, free and confidential counselling support is also available to members of our Vipers community through True Sport. Please reach out to the club if you would like the details, or visit the True Sport website to access support.
Thank you again to our volunteers, our families, Joondalup Brothers and everyone who stepped up when it mattered most. ππ€π
