Thank you to everyone who brought their friends along for Bring A Friend Week! 🙏
Whether your friend was trying CrossFit for the very first time, getting back into fitness, or just seeing what all the fuss is about, we loved having them in and hope they had a blast!
Special mention to Louise and May for bringing basically their entire run club to the gym. 😅

Member highlight - Ben! 😃
Shout out to this legend for absolutely crushing it, 5am or 4pm, whenever he can fit it in - he is always coming into class smiling and with the vocals ready.
He is always putting in his best effort and striving for new personal bests!
We appreciate Ben’s energy and his ongoing encouragement for every other member in the class. If you are ever in a class with Ben, we guarantee he will be your biggest cheerleader!

Introducing: The CrossFit Zenith 💥
Three times a year, we dedicate one week to measuring what really matters - your progress.
Over six days, we’ll complete six classic CrossFit benchmark workouts to give you a snapshot of your overall fitness. Each workout receives a score, and if you complete all six, you’ll receive your overall CrossFit Zenith score.
But here’s the thing… the score isn’t the goal. The goal is to see yourself improve every time testing week comes around.
To make sure everyone can take part, we’ll have both Rx and Scaled options where needed, and if you’re on a 3-session membership, you’ll receive unlimited access for the week so you can complete every test.
It’s not about being the fittest in the gym. It’s about having something to train towards, celebrating your progress, and becoming a little fitter than you were three months ago.
Train. Test. Improve. Repeat.

Bright spot Friday 🌟 Gaz!
Shout out to Gaz for some incredible progress.
Recently we have seen some huge improvements with his overall performance in class, gymnastics improvements, and holding on for longer endurance.
Last night he absolutely smashed the 2.4km of running .. and this was after a 1.5k row with some skipping.
Well done Gaz!! 👊

“Should I be having protein powder?” “What protein powder should I have?” “Does collagen protein powder make me look 21 again?” “Isn’t soy protein bad for your hormones?”
All the questions - and the answer. It depends.
When you are picking a protein powder, it’s best you reflect on the following questions before considering which specific protein powder is best for you:
~ What is your current protein intake from wholefoods?
~ Could you increase your wholefood protein intake before adding protein powder?
~ Why am I considering protein powder in the first place?
Once you can answer these questions, then it’s time to consider:
~ Am I allergic to dairy or soy or lactose?
~ Am I sensitive to texture and taste?
~ How much protein should I be looking for in the powder?
And then once you answer those questions, you can consider:
~ Cost per kilo
~ Australian/New Zealand based
~ Additives/preservatives
~ Calorie:Protein ratio
AND only then, can you decide which protein is best for YOU!
