BACK WHERE HE BELONGS 🔵

Jacob Rigoni has signed with the Adelaide 36ers as a Nominated Replacement Player for the NBL27 season.

Eighteen months ago he was starting an ACL rehab. This year he came back and put up 22.8 points, 7.7 rebounds and 2.7 assists a game for us in NBL1 Central.

From Sturt junior to the NBL, twice over. Couldn't be prouder of you, J Ragz!!!

Junior Presentations, Saturday 29th of August.

Doors open 5:00pm with presentations kicking off at 5:15pm and wrapping up by 7:00pm. Club Awards first, then age groups from U10 through to U14.

Our U14 Nationals teams are also fundraising from 5:00pm. The U14 Girls are running stalls across Courts 2 and 3 with face painting, keychains, lollies and cupcakes, squishies, lucky dip, henna, Pin the Fang on the Sabre and an obstacle course with prizes. The U14 Boys have a sausage sizzle, donuts and chocolates going.

Everything is $1 to $10 and it all goes towards getting both teams to Nationals. Come early, grab a feed and get behind the kids. Bring cash.

U14 Div 1 BOYS ARE CHAMPIONS 🏆

Tayla Brazel has been selected to represent Australia at the FIBA 3x3 Youth Nations League 2026 in Singapore.

Coaches' MVP. NBL1 Central champion. Now an Australian representative. Not a bad few months.

Sturt U10 Girls Team 3 took out the Grand Final on Saturday morning with a brilliant 34–6 win!

Every single one of these girls was playing their first season of district basketball - and they finished top of the ladder, undefeated all season. What an incredible achievement!

So proud of you all. And a huge thank you to our amazing coaches - you've made this a season these girls will never forget.

Congrats to our the U16.2 Boys who defeated Norwood 77-50 🏆
