What a fun night on Saturday 22nd August! We held our annual bingo night and some people went home with more money than they came with.... we had a delicious supper of marinated chicken wings and drumettes, little boys, party pies and sausage rolls with a yummy chocolate cake for afters - can anyone say YUM!!
Thank you to the committee for their help on the night as well as those guests who helped pack up at the end of the night. Dave J- thank you for the chicken, Sarah for being behind the bar, Ken and David Mc for calling the bingo (naughty boys!), Greg for his math skills and Amber for selling the cards. This event will be on the calendar next year for sure! Thank you all for your support!

What a great evening it was last Wednesday 5th August! Two members of the Victorian Water Police came to give a talk on things like: life jacket knowledge, boat lights and when and what should be turned on, flares (and they demonstrated them!), explained what the Water Police do and what area they cover. Did you know that there is approx. 60 officers to cover all of Victoria and assist the Tasmanian Water police?! Thank you to everyone who came to listen to the two officers and enjoyed a small bbq before the talk. We also gave the officers a club cap, stubby holder and a box of chocolates each as a thank you.
Let us know if you have any suggestions for guest speakers!
