⏰ Over 35s – 3:30pm

🚌 We’ve got the bus heading over for the day trip, so make sure you check Team App for all the details. If you’re unsure on anything, flick a message into our Facebook Messenger group.

It’s been another bloody good year with this group, so let’s make the last game a good one and enjoy the trip away together.

And remember… the footy might finish Saturday, but the weekend certainly doesn’t. 😂

🏉 ONE LAST RUN FOR 2026 🏉

This weekend we head to Melton for our final game of the season.

This photo sums up what the Emus are all about. Our president and vice-president, a few Echuca United boys, plenty of good mates and possibly even a few new recruits for next season 👀😂

That’s how this club continues to grow. Mates bringing mates along, old teammates reconnecting and hopefully a few more joining us next year💪

For now though, it’s all about Melton. One more game together and one last chance to finish the season off properly.

🏉 SIDES ARE IN! 🏉

The Emus are back at Echuca South Oval this weekend taking on Ballarat, and we get the perfect lead-in with our game kicking off straight after the Echuca United seniors.

⏰ Game time: Around 4:30pm, straight after the seniors
🟢 Players: Please arrive around 3:30pm
🏃 We’ll get our warm-up underway on the oval at 3/4 time of the seniors

Should be a great afternoon of local footy and another strong Emus side ready for a good hit-out.

Then after the game, head back to The Cal from around 8pm for awards, a few beers and the usual carry on 🍻😂

Get down early, support the United boys and then stick around for the Emus!

A week on from what was a pretty special day between the Emus and our great mates from the GV Giants, we’ve finally got the photos up on our website! 📸

The Buck McPhee Trophy is always one of the games we look forward to each year, and this one certainly didn’t disappoint. Both games were played in great spirit, plenty of laughs were had, and most importantly both clubs came together to honour a great man who meant so much to the Emus and Giants.

We’ve got some great shots from the day, including a few of the boys actually looking like footballers! 😂

Buck McPhee Trophy this Saturday

The teams are locked in and we’re ready for one of the biggest days on the Emus calendar as both of our sides take on the GV Giants in the annual Buck McPhee Trophy.

This day is about much more than footy.

Buck McPhee was a massive part of both the Emus and the Giants. A genuine family man, a great mate to so many, and one of those blokes who made everyone feel welcome around the club. It’s a privilege for both clubs to honour Buck’s legacy each year by playing for the trophy that proudly carries his name.

🏉 Buck McPhee Trophy – Emus v GV Giants 🏉

This is always one of the games we look forward to most each season.

Not just because we get to take on our great mates from the GV Giants, but because we get to play in honour of one of the greatest men, Buck McPhee.

Buck was one of those blokes everyone respected,He was a huge part of both the Emus and the Giants, a devoted family man, and someone who made everyone feel welcome around the club. It means a lot to be able to honour his legacy by playing for a trophy that carries his name.

🕧 Game 1: 12:30pm
🕑 Game 2: 2:00pm

Emus players:
🟢 Please arrive around 11:00am to help with setup and get a good warm-up in.
