Association Captains/Delegates Meeting.

The association wishes to advise all members this meeting is scheduled for 7.00pm on Tuesday the 15/09/26 at the Rich River Golf Club.

The committee will be attempting to hold one of these meeting each season (approximately at the halfway point) going forward.

We’ll be posting this information on the Captains & Committee Messenger chat group shortly, to seek interest in attending & the general business items (appropriate & timely) any general playing members wish their Captain or Delegate to raise for discussion, to assist with compiling the meeting agenda document.

This meeting is for Committee Members & Captains (or a Delegate the Captain selects from their team, if unable to attend themselves) only, not all members. We only want 1 x representative from each current/active team, which is a maximum total of 16 x people, with some Committee Members being Captains.

We request any general playing members who have questions, suggestions, etc for the Committee Members & Captains/Delegates to discuss, that you record this with your Captain to be raised at the meeting.

If Captains don’t pass on this information by the 11/09/26 to be added to the meeting agenda document, then you need to be aware the meeting will take longer to conduct, as the notetaker of the meeting will have more work to do whilst there. We understand they’ll be some questions, suggestions, etc arise whilst at the meeting that will need to be added to the meeting minutes.

If there isn’t a representative from at least 8 of our current/active 11 x teams planning on attending, we may decide not to hold the meeting. There is currently 4 x Committee Members that are Captains as well.

Hopefully this meeting will take place & be a useful exercise.

Michael Bajowski (Baja) - Trans-Tasman Championships.

Baja was invited & is participating in this tournament in Brisbane, Queensland this weekend.

I’ve attached a screenshot of the full event information.

There’s still some opportunities up for grabs to qualify for bigger events from this tournament & the last round of the Australian Darts Association Tour.

Winter 2026 - Round 6 - All Teams Division.

Player Membership Fees 2026 - 2027 & Team Weekly Match Playing Fees Winter 2026 Season.

It was requested by the Committee to the Captains, that both these fees be paid before round # 4. (Facebook & Messenger Posts on the 7/07/26.)

At this stage, there are a few teams that haven’t paid either.

A message will be sent to the Captains to remind them to make payment & the amount outstanding.

With the teams who still owe fees, could the players please assist their Captains by producing the required money & save them the embarrassment or uncomfortableness of continually asking for it or having to explain it to the Committee.

These fees absolutely need to be paid before round # 7 (2/09/26), otherwise the consequences/penalties listed in the playing/match rules may be enforced, which nobody wants to see happen.

Swan Hill Darts Tournament.

The E.M.D.A. League Team played in the Swan Hill Darts Tournament on the 8 - 9/08/26.

The team consisted Andrew Beaumont (Captain), Will Broucek, Marcus McKenner, Rob Molnar & Alex Oakley.

The team finished 5th out of 12 x teams, with 5 x round wins & 6 x round losses.

The playing format was 5 x singles games, best of 3 x legs - 1st to win 2 x legs, per match.

Some of the individual highlights were as follows:

- Andrew threw 2 x legs of 19 x darts.

- Will threw a 180.

- Marcus threw a 17 x dart leg.

- Rob won 8 x round games & threw a 13 x dart leg, which was the lowest for the tournament.

- Alex threw a 19 x dart leg & a 180.

Everyone had an enjoyable weekend, were well behaved, displayed good sportspersonship & represented the league in a positve manner.

Also, it goes without saying, thanks to the Swan Hill Darts Association committee & volunteers for all their time & effort with hosting the tournament. Likewise to the other associations that have tournaments that our league team participates in each year. You all do a great job & it’s appreciated.

The next tournament weekend the league team will play is in Bendigo on the 5 - 6/09/26.

Michael Bajowski (Baja) - A.D.A. 2026 Tour.

New South Wales - Tournament # 5 Information.

Baja finished in the top 16 in event # 1, top 8 in event # 2, winner of event # 3 & top 16 in event # 4.

(He had a bye in all 4 x events in the top 128.)

Baja had a very successful weekend & added more valuable points to the rankings leaderboard.

Well done & we look forward to monitoring his future endeavours.

Again, another one of a few of our association members who are committed, participating & performing well at the elite level + doing our association & members proud.

Caylee Crilly - Darts Victoria Junior Championships 2026.

This event was held at the Melton Darts Club on the 2nd of August, 2026.

Caylee won the girls singles event & the girls doubles event with Sophie Williams.

Big congratulations to Caylee for her achievements & we look forward to monitoring her future endeavours.

She may well be considered Victoria’s best junior female at present with this & her recent state team try-outs performances, whilst still being eligible for a couple more years yet, due to her age.
